Boehner’s suit is not a stunt. It’s an act submitting to Obama's ongoing tyranny!

See: Obama: Boehner's lawsuit is 'a stunt'

”President Barack Obama called House Speaker John Boehner's plans to file a lawsuit over the President's use of executive action "a stunt," in an interview with ABC News Chief Anchor George Stephanopoulos.”

The obvious truth is, Boehner’s threatened lawsuit is another clever strategy by the Republican Establishment to assist Obama in his fundamental transformation of America while pretending to be fighting against it. Boehner’s lawsuit is basically the same strategy which was pulled when 26 State Attorney Generals file suit against Obamacare. Instead of these AGs filing their case directly in the Supreme Court which had original jurisdiction in the case and also filing for an injunction to stop the implementation of Obamacare while it was being litigated, they went the long and draw out path to allow the America People to calm down and to allow Obamacare to start being implemented which makes it much more difficult to reverse.

Like the Obamacare case, Boehner’s lawsuit is designed to run out the clock, allow Obama to complete his fundamental transformation of America by executive order in his last term, and together the Republican Establishment and Obama will have completed the Washington Establishment’s mission to transform America in such a way so it will never be able to return to the system our Founders envisioned without an armed rebellion taking place.

As I have pointed out in a thread titled "
Are there sufficient and compelling offenses by President Obama to impeach him?" Obama has indeed committed a number of impeachable offenses, and our wise founding fathers specifically put the process of impeachment in the House of Representatives specifically to deal with the kind of president we now have.

For the Republican controlled House to not start the impeachment process, which is our Founder’s expressed remedy for the very kind of president we now have who is ignoring our immigration laws and is allowing our borders to be invaded; has engaged in bribery in the passage of Obamacare (the "Cornhusker Kickback" and the infamous $300 million "Louisiana Purchase"); was held in contempt of a federal court's ruling by continuing his deepwater-drilling moratorium after the policy was struck down by the Court (See: U.S. in Contempt Over Gulf Drill Ban, Judge Rules); has engaged in a money laundering operation under the guise of “green energy” in which he has plundered billions of dollars from our federal treasury and transferred them to his political donors (see: 80% of Obama green jobs money goes to Obama donors.); has usurped legislative power when he arbitrarily gutted the work requirement for welfare recipients passed by Congress and signed into law by President Clinton, and has already been slapped down by the courts thirteen times for ignoring the laws of the United States and our Constitution (See: Supreme Court Rules Unanimously Against Obama for 12th and 13th Time Since 2012), it becomes quite evident that Speaker Boehner and the Republican Party leadership is acting in concert with Obama by not exercising the very remedy our Founders provided to remove from office a tyrannical president.

We have been warned about submitting to tyranny in THE OLD GUARD, A MONTHLY JOURNAL DEVOTED TO THE PRINCIPLES OF 1776 AND 1787. See: H0W TO TREAT UNCONSTITUTIONAL ACTS OF CONGRESS:

”Submit to despotism for an hour and you concede the principle. John Adams said, in 1775, “Nip the shoots of arbitrary power in the bud.” It is the only thing a people determined to be free can do. Republics have often failed, and have been succeeded by the most revolting despotisms; and always it was the voice of timidity, cowardice, or false leaders counseling submission, that led to the final downfall of freedom. It was the cowardice and treachery of the Senate of Rome that allowed the usurper to gain power, inch by inch, to overthrow the Republic. The history of the downfall of Republics is the same in all ages. The first inch that is yielded to despotism - the first blow, dealt at the Constitution, that is not resisted - is the beginning of the end of the nation’s ruin.”

The correct Constitutional procedure in the House is called Impeachment.

Not a bloody silly lawsuit.

Please.

the principle that denies to government officials
an exceptional position before the law and which
subjects them to the same rules of conduct
that are commands to the citizen."

Does Obama have nude photos of this jackass in the tanning bed? The Foster Brooks of American politics.

Time is long past when the political system in the U.S. had any solutions to this final descent into tyranny...

Except through direct violence, nothing in world history can be used as an example of a once-free citizenry climbing back out of darkest tyranny.

To make matters worse, compared to tyrannies of the past, no tyranny has ever been so assured of centuries of tenure thanks to the current technologies in its hands as this one.

We were warned...Very few listened...Now all the prophetic outcome-warnings since 1904 have come to pass...

I agreed with you until today. A lawyer I know pointed out that (Nixon's White House tapes) prior to Congress impeaching Nixon, the special prosecutor got a court order from the Supreme Court for Nixon to turn over the incriminating tapes.

While Congress has more than enough grounds to Impeach the communist in our White House today, the offenses to be charged are nowhere near enough for the corrupt Senate to vote by a 2/3 majority to remove the thug from office. Going to court as an interim measure at least has the advantage of potentially getting more leverage either to limit the damage done in the remaining two terrible years under this druggie, or to pressure the Senate into voting based on the actual crimes rather than voting based on party loyalty.

Oh please!

Bonehead has the power of the purse
and he has the power of impeachment.

This lawsuit is just a stunt so he does not have to do the two mentioned
above.

Good points, Pollster1.

I’m just so sick of the fangless, feckless RINOs. It’s getting so I can’t tell the difference between another avoidance of responsibility and an actual discharge of same.

OK, so we impeach Obama. We get every republican to vote for it, so it passes, and he is impeached. The Senate may not even bother holding a trial, so nothing ever comes of it.

Clinton was impeached and earned $100+ million in speaking fees, and is the most popular president on the list.

And even if Obama was convicted of impeachment, AND removed from office, Biden would be President. He wouldn’t reverse anything Obama did. Since Biden wouldn’t be signing the executive orders, we’d hardly be able to impeach him.

So we’d still have all the lawless things in place, just without the guy who did it.

The lawsuit won’t likely work, but if it managed to succeed, it would at least result in a court ruling reversing the actions of Obama on some point. No idea how that gets enforced, but a president disobeying the order of a court is a lot easier to impeach.

I’d say cut off his money. But first, the senate won’t go for it. Second, they wasted the government shutdown, won’t do it again. Third, you can’t stop them from NOT enforcing the immigration laws by cutting money for enforcing immigration laws. You might stop a few things he is actually DOING, but in most cases his lawlessness involved ignoring or changing laws to not apply parts of them, not establishing a large new amount of spending.

I doubt the US public has it in them - or the spirit that would be needed in the majority to rebel...this point in our history we have risen to greatest - but we are falling to nothingness...sad...sad...sad...great article though...
