Democrats are changing out their immigration mix tape. Before, twas Ted Kennedy singing 'Jalisco' . If you don't remember that, Yahoo it – it's a hoot. Then it was 'Don't Fence Me In (or out)'. Both have been replaced by 'Vaya Con Dios My Darling'. Nancy Pelosi is still on board with failed policies and Mooooochelle is still dog whistling to LULAC that “we have to keep up the fight on immigration”. But House Minority Whip, Steny Hoyer is signaling the troops to retreat:

“We have an immediate humanitarian crisis that confronts this country. We also have a crisis in terms of: this country cannot absorb, nor should it, a limitless number of people, particularly children, who want to come across our border.” “We cannot have people coming into the United States who are not authorized to do so.”

It's not just House Democrats reading the writing on the wall. An excerpt from the Democrat state paper, the Washington Post, an editorial, which by their standards, is a repudiation of open borders:

"Mr. Obama has come under intense pressure from Democrats and immigration advocates to continue this leniency. They make their argument on humanitarian grounds. But there is nothing humanitarian in tacitly encouraging tens of thousands of children to risk their lives, often at the hands of cutthroat smugglers, to enter this country illegally".

"If the president is serious about restoring order to the border and dissuading children and their families from a costly and life-threatening trip, he will add teeth to his policy by seeking the legal change he promised".

Look for more Democ-Rats to jump Obama's sinking ship before November. It's turning into a mad rush. You might call it a surge...

If they make it to California, Oregon, Washington or Colorado and show up wearing those shoes they will probably think they hit the lottery.
