A federal appeals court handed down a ruling this morning that could be problematic for ObamaCare. As just reported, “A judicial panel in a 2-1 ruling said such subsidies can be granted only to those people who bought insurance in an ObamaCare exchange run by an individual state or the District of Columbia—not on the federally run exchange HealthCare.gov.” You can read the entire appeal here.

And meanwhile, both sides will take the opportunity to fund-raise on the issue. And although the message sent to voters by most Republicans will be: send me (or send me back) to Congress so that I can vote against Obamacare, the outcome will be as you stated above. Congress will continue to fund it.
Stop these hateful attacks on President Obama! They would not have ruled this way if he was white. He was stopped for presidenting while black.
Nancy Pelosi’s famous comment about how we have to pass the Obamacare law to know what’s in it is ironically prophetic. Deep in the bowels of Obamacare might well be the seeds for its destruction. However, Emperor Obama still has his pen and phone and may well just illegally rewrite the law again. Boehner should be using this opportunity to defund Obamacare, but I doubt has the onions to do so.

That photo has “blackmail” all over it.
I could be cute and state that this is Hugh and Series. But, in fact, it is a huge deal.
It tells us that once in awhile 2 out of 3 judges can read the English language and use dictionary if necessary to decide what it says. That leaves 1 out of 3 how doesn’t think meaning and intent count for much. Doing “what is right” is all that counts.
The bottom line: If this holds up through the inevitable judicial reviews then Obamacare is in real jeopardy.
What next? Obama prints up new money and pays the subsidies anyway. There is no longer any debt ceiling (thanks to John Boehner and Mitch McConnell), so he can pretty much do whatever the hell he wants when it comes to money.
I wonder how this will affect the insurance companies. It seems to me that they were already struggling. And they wanted this crap.
As fastly as the dems needed to rush nobamacare through, before any of their flock began to get cold feet undoubtedly left many poisonous seeds, one of which that Roberts gave an assist in sprouting by ruling it a tax was the “Origination Clause”. They also failed to include any severability, which means that any part ruled as unconstitutional nullifies all and places it back for Congress to rework in its entirety.
Even though the dems and their MSM cohorts have done a good job of keeping this looking to be on even keel, to the public, it continues to teeter on many constitutional ledges. Stay tuned this is a long way for “settled law”.
It will definitely affect the doctors. They won’t get paid because the policies are deemed null while this is going through King Barry’s pen & phone fixes.
