Looking at the non-stop unrest in Ferguson reminds me of what so much of America has become. Our ideology and unsettled grievances result in a tension that is keeping us apart from reason and if left unresolved will lead to even worse consequences and ramifications.
I see reasonable people in Ferguson who are willing to see due process play out. After all, 99.9% of us were not there when Michael Brown was shot by police office Darren Wilson. The facts are yet to be determined and that will take a reasonable amount of time.
Every news report or sound bite which claims to reveal new information regarding P.O. Wilson or Michael Brown serves only to call into question the claims of the other side. Until all of the information has been investigated and deemed factual, opinion will rule the day. And this opinion, especially when presented by those who hope to turn death into a narrative of race, will serve to benefit no one. You can always expect such individuals to fuel the racial flames because it’s in their interest.
But what about the interest of Michael Brown’s family, the local police, officer Darren Wilson, the community of Ferguson and America at large? I see a neighborhood, a community and a nation that wants once and for all, racial healing. As to what we expect from our president...

I think the weather has taken care of it. The storm Wednesday night then highs in the mid to upper 90’s has already dampened the enthusiasm of the troublemakers. The forecast is calling for high 90’s for the next 6 or so days :)

While more things may come up in the investigation the cops narrative has the most evidence and credible witness support behind--
a thug hit the cop in the eye fracturing the bone around it, then grabbed for his gun. The thug then tried to flee, the cop told him to freeze, then the thug, all 6 foot 4 and 292 pounds of him came at the officer to attack him again, so the officer shot him and killed him.
racial healing means agreeing with liberals and black leaders like sharpton and Jackson on everything when it comes to race

I'd prefer an honest discuscussion: topic 1- why are so many blacks angry enough to riot when one black person gets killed by a white cop but could care less when thousands of blacks are killed by other blacks?
