Ferguson turns protest into political power

FERGUSON, Missouri — Before Michael Brown’s death, all Taurean Russell wanted was to finish college, teach history and coach high school football. But that changed August 9, when photos of Brown’s lifeless body, shot by a cop and left sprawled in the street, kept appearing on social media.

“I saw a dead body on my timeline. It kept appearing hour after hour and somebody said ‘I hope somebody gets up and does something about it,” said Russell, 30. “Then I heard his mother on TV say, ‘Why did they kill my son.’”

Those words triggered something in Russell. He rallied friends and they headed down to the Ferguson Police Department looking for answers. They didn’t get any so they went back the next day and the day after.

Russell and others incensed by Brown’s killing and the lack of charges against Darren Wilson, the officer who shot Brown, have grown both more impatient and more organized. They’ve joined forces with established activist groups and other youth leaders from across the state and country, crafting a list of demands and studying policy, political science and past social movements.

“You can’t have patience,” Russell said on a recent afternoon. “We been stuck on the same page in history for the last 60 years, patience is gone. Local police came and said y’all need to leave, we stayed. They shot tear gas, we stayed. They shot rubber bullets we stayed and got stronger. They gave us a curfew, we stayed all night.”(continued)

Ferguson going all political movement may reach just outside the city limits and the MSNBC audience, but not much further.

The gangsters will always be up for a movement, but most blacks have gotten past the 1930’s, and the Sharpton/Jackson “movement” style for enriching themselves while leaving their syncophant followers in the dirt, still jobless, uneducated, fatherless and always unchurched.

While I empathasize with Mr. Russell's demand for answers out of my own frustration with the "transparancy" of the reclusive Obama administration, it understandably takes time for the police to correctly fit the pieces of a crime puzzle together. Remember. Those suffering beatings as a result of the reaction to the lies spread by the MSM employees and the race-grievance industry should seriously consider civil lawsuits.

As retaliatory assaults accumulate because of Ferguson MSM and race-grievance industry lies keep in mind that

• injured should file civil lawsuits using the doctrine of vicarious liability;
• the MSM and the race-grievance industry have deep pockets;
• The offenders (beating up whites mostly) need only be aware of the hate and lies spewed forth to convince
• a jury to decide in favor of the victim of the retaliatory assault.

Here's some stats about interracial violence. This is information from DoJ annual surveys of crime victims. Emphasis on survey. They are not police and FBI records.

2008 was the last time the DoJ survey released the victim/offender by race data (Table 42). Gee I wonder why. Maybe the race data was a bit too honest. I think it shows that in general blacks out pace whites in the area of interracial violence.

If anyone knows of DoJ annual survey Table 42 for the Obama years please let me know. I could not find them.

It never occurred to Tryaine that had there been no arson and wholesale looting, and hurling potential lethal objects at police, there would have been no rubber bullets, no real bullets, no gases of any kind and no deaths.

Political "power" is never legitimate when bought by violence by anyone. Not by police, not by looters and arsonists and Molotov hurling hoods.

Without learning civilized behavior, no "power" delusionally assumed to have been earned, through intimidation and blackmail, can be legitimized. Nor can mob rule ever be permanent.
