I agree with your concerns, though as others have noted I think our current administration is malicious rather than just incompetent. I may have missed something, but doesn’t it seem like we should be easily able to locate those planes and destroy them on the ground? Maybe the IDF will, seeing as their boss is now the apparent leader of the free world.
My greatest fear is a Breslan type attack.

Are you old enough to remember duck and cover? I’m old ... was around during that time of duck and cover (late 50s early 60s). The teachers always told us to stick our head between our legs. Yep, they sure did. It was the signal to kiss your butt good-bye or so the joke was. Everything that can be done is being done, in spite of the obama crowd. I too cried after 911 ... I also resolved to do all could do to stop a next 911. Guess what, my efforts have bore no fruit. It is the way of man to attempt to do something alone. I (singular) failed! Make no mistake though ... together (all of US) are ready. Our Military is rested and many are standing guard. Everything is going to be okay and if it turns out everything is not okay, this would be their second strike on America. (imho) reaction is going to be substantially different than was America’s reaction after 911. Is safe to believe plans are in place and are being implemented as am typing. Stay Safe, FRiend.

In spite of his faults, wouldn't it be great if Dick Cheney's address were 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue? Honestly, and this is not sarc, he and his team of American Patriots need to march right into the White House, arrest the evil trio of hussein/holder/jarrett, put them in a maximum security prison for life and just plain take over during the current existential crisis. Then, in 2016, when Governor Sarah Palin wins the election, normalcy will resume to America.

That would be horrible. My dream had our country bearing black flags from every state, and included the WH. Power was out everywhere, and riots broke out all over. People were being beheaded regularly. No one was safe. In short, in my dream, the USA had become like Iraq and Syria in very short order, starting on 9/11 so as not to misunderstand who was doing the terrorizing.
ISIS is bat shot insane enough to do something big on 9-11.

Woe ... grave error was that on my part. I've lost count. Six or more times would be more accurate. Could also be as high a number as twenty. May the remainder of this month and the rest of this year pass with calm on America's home soil.
