Back in May, the Islamic State released a video targeting Las Vegas. The ISIS propaganda video made threats against Las Vegas landmarks. It caused authorities enough concern that they sent out warning notices to hotels on the famous Strip. In the video that calls for lone wolf attacks, several Strip properties were prominently displayed, reported Las Vegas Now.

When I was 16, a Texas police officer pulled me over and said "it's people like you that are ruining this country. Go back to your country." People who speed, I thought? Girls who are late for figure skating practice? I wasn't sure what he meant. What country was I supposed to go to? I was born and raised in Austin. Then, it dawned on me. It was a month after 9/11, and he meant Muslims. Islamophobia is widespread. In the 15 years that have followed the Sept. 11 attacks, many Muslim or Middle Eastern Americans have been repeatedly...

Adverts promoting negative body images will be banned across the Transport for London (TfL) network from next month. As part of his mayoral election manifesto Sadiq Khan pledged to ban adverts promoting "unhealthy or unrealistic" body images. The advertising watchdog received 378 complaints in 2015 about a weight-loss advert that asked customers if they were "beach body ready?" Mr Khan has now asked TfL to set up its own advertising steering group. The Protein World "beach body ready" promotional posters were defaced in Tube stations and a petition was started calling for the adverts to be banned, however the Advertising...

President Obama's spokesman said Monday that White House officials are "wondering" if a gunman's attack on a Philadelphia police officer was an act of terrorism, and said the White House views the shooting as another reason for gun control. Whether the shooting of Officer Jesse Hartnett was an act of terrorism "is something we're all wondering right now," said White House press secretary Josh Earnest, adding that White House officials have been in contact with Philadelphia authorities. Alleged gunman Edward Archer, 30, told police he was motivated by the Islamic State to shoot the officer.

Whats next after the Obama administrations opening to Cuba? Why, an embassy in Tehran, of course. On Aug. 14, in a ceremony replete with pomp and circumstance, Secretary of State John Kerry presided over the formal re-opening of the US Embassy in Havana, Cuba. The occasion marked the culmination of nearly two years of quiet diplomacy between the White House and the Castro regime. The initiative had been launched following Kerrys fall 2013 address before the Organization of the American States, in which he had announced with great fanfare that the era of the Monroe Doctrine is over. That pronouncement...

Here lays the supreme problem for the National Socialist Left in attempting to exploit every tragedy for crass political gain against their enemies. They often get hoisted on their own petard when their rank hypocrisy is shown in stark relief for all the world to see. Now that we know that the Chattanooga shooter was motivated by radical Islam, will the National Socialist Left have the balls to oppose a REAL enemy instead of one THEY KNOW wont retaliate against their rank oppressive tendencies? Or will they Cair? Its a sure bet that whenever a shooting takes place in a...

"............Chillingly, free speech, academic freedom, and the safety of Jews can no longer be taken for granted on college campuses. The deteriorating situation is described and analyzed meticulously in Volume IV of The Black Book of the American Left (subtitled Islamo-Fascism and the War Against the Jews). In the book, author David Horowitz assumes the mantle of fearless truth-teller, as he explores how Islamists and leftists work together to limit freedom of thought and speech, defame the only democracy and reliable US ally in the Middle East, and aid the spread of Islamist ideas and policies. The book aptly begins by...

errorism: As in Paris, where the White House insists four Jews in a kosher market were randomly selected for slaughter, the statement condemning IS beheading 21 Egyptians omits a key fact: all were Christians. Speaking of the Chapel Hill, N.C., murder of three Muslims, President Obama, as his FBI began an investigation into whether it was a "hate crime," issued a statement saying that "no one in the United States of America should ever be targeted because of who they are, what they look like or how they worship." Indeed not. Yet, we could find no such sentiment or statement...

The US Department of Defense is sponsoring an essay contest to honor the Saudi King. Here is mine: Dear King, It is sad that you died of natural causes. I had an appointment in the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001. It was cancelled at the last minute. If only you could have been there in my place. How much you could have learned. Or perhaps you could have been a passenger in one of the planes that hit it. No doubt you would have had a first class seat, right at the front of the plane. After all,...

Parents in Farmville, North Carolina want to know why their children were given a Common Core vocabulary assignment in an English class that promoted the Prophet Muhammad and the Islamic faith. It really caught me off guard, a Farmville Central High School student who was in the class told me. If we are not allowed to talk about any other religions in school how is this appropriate? The Islamic vocabulary worksheet was assigned to seniors. I was reading it and it caught me off guard, the student told me. I just looked at it and knew something was not...

The most obvious question to ask about the EEOCs obsession with the Samantha Elauf case is why is it even a case? Setting aside the entire legal question of whether a store that sells trendy clothing is required to accept an employee wearing a 7th century symbol that says she is her husbands or fathers property Elaufs being a Muslim woman wearing Hijab had nothing to do with why she wasnt hired. There are two issues in the case 1. Abercrombie and Fitch have a policy against headcoverings for employees 2. Samantha Elauf was not hired by A and F...

Signing his name as Sheik Haron and writing Dear Brother Barack Obama in the salutation of his letter, Man Haron Monis warned Obama on June 12, 2008:You will be apostate by denying your religion, I advise you to avoid such a big sin.

Out of a clear blue sky, stock brokers and janitors rained. Contorted bodies approached terminal velocity in wind-whipped business suits. Forced to decide between the slow agony of fire and the sudden O, God I hope its sudden slam against cement, they laid out upon the atmosphere, wishing for the whisper of angel wings to whisk them ever upward. Yet. Plummeting. I called a database vendor to get a project update. He said, Do you know whats happening? No, what? Were under attack, he said. America is under attack.
