I don't know if everybody considers the episode as evidence but it satisfies me.
That episode crossed my mind as I read the responses but I had no idea what program it was or when; thanks for sharing.

My original post was in answer to a post which said that if the posters dogswere not there then they did not want to go.
My position is that Christ is who is important, not a dog If one is desiring heaven for reasons other than Jesus, perhaps rethinking should occur.
I was from a hard-core cat hating family, my dad used to talk of drinking and shooting ones in the park when he was a kid
BUT my wife completely won me over to the things- and I’m allergic, but they are wonderful creatures
Our dog Buddy went to Heaven March 20th. If he didn’t make I sure never will. :-)

That’s a great passage. People seem to forget that we won’t be spending eternity as disembodied ectoplasm strumming harps in heaven. A new earth will be created, and we will be given new, incorruptible physical bodies to dwell on that new earth. It will be as it was meant to be in Eden, before the fall. Hard to imagine no animals there.

When my buddy sent it, it was allegedly a church sign war conducting on opposite sides of ‘a busy street’, but I’m quite sure it is fake.
Pretty funny tho- I’m Catholic, and I will say most the priests I’ve know over the years always had a self deprecating sense of humor about our denomination, and I always liked that.

I was reared Church of Christ and Baptist but studying the Bible I believe the interpretation by the Catholics is more in keeping with God and Jesus. I wear a St. Francis of Assisi medal to remind me that God entrusts me to take care of the ones with which he has given us dominion over.
My background is protestant. My grandmother was Presbyterian. I am with the Catholics on this one.
