The Iraqi Kurds: The Islamic State's Nemesis and Globalist headache.

The only bright spot in the train wreck the United States and their Gulf States allies have created in Iraq, is a brave people, whose accomplishments in kicking ISIS ass, are impressive to say the least.

But, not surprisingly, our government doesn't have a hand in this success story. The Kurdish people in Iraq, have taken the fight to the Islamic State with meager resources and have prevailed.

All the Obama administration has done until just recently, was to lean on other countries to not purchase Kurdish oil, thus depriving the Kurds of much needed economic resources with which to purchase arms and supplies.

Now that the ISIS menace is glaringly obvious and visceral, due to the boasting they do of acts that the civilized world considers cowardly and contemptible, the Obama White House has no credible option but to support the Kurds. To withhold support would make the foreign policy agenda of perpetuating tribal and sectarian violence too transparent to the mainly uninformed American sheeple.

Here's the real kicker to the story, which I saved aside as the pièce de résistance. The Kurds are majority Sunni. Yes, these folks who by and large have a culture that is life affirming, virtuous, freedom loving and symmetrical with Western values are mostly Sunni muslims! Along with that, the fastest growing alternate religion among them is now Christianity.

The more I learn about the Kurds and the trials they've been through, which parallel the Armenians and Jews in many respects, the more I admire them.

Iraq needs to be segmented into tribal regions and the Kurds are taking their own initiative in this. For order, progress and stability, there is no other way forward. Of course, this is not the sort of outcome that is synchronous with the aims of the Global World Order.

Biden was correct.

Yep. Biden was correct about Iraq. Partition it into three independent states. That's the way it's going anyway. it we had listened to Biden in the first place, a lot a spilled blood would have been avoided.

And Biden was right about Afghanistan after 9/11. No boots on the ground. Just bomb them back into the stone age.

What a bizarre thing. The court jester was right after all.

The Kurds said “Thank you” to the U.S. after we freed them from Sadaam’s brutal rule. But they are Muslims, so we can’t depend on them not to backstab us once ISIL is defeated.

Or do they practice a form of Islam where they leave Infidels alone? That would be interesting to know.

I know a fellow who has spent a few years teaching in Sulimaniya. He reports that there are some truly stunning ladies among the Kurds.

I have seen some photos, and I believe him.

“Yep. Biden was correct about Iraq. Partition it into three independent states. That’s the way it’s going anyway. it we had listened to Biden in the first place, a lot a spilled blood would have been avoided.”

True.

“And Biden was right about Afghanistan after 9/11. No boots on the ground. Just bomb them back into the stone age.”

Not true. We couldn’t have gotten them from the air. When we first went in, and our guys told the Afghans about 9/11 they were sympathetic. They understand and respect the need for revenge, and had no beef with us. Our mistake was trying to create a central government. Most Afghans are rural tribesmen. Their “government” is the tribal leaders. They don’t recognize any authority over the tribe, and will fight any attempt to impose one. By doing so we pushed them into the arms of the Taliban.”

I think ISIS made a similar mistake in declaring a caliphate too soon. They may have attracted a lot of jihadis, but they declared war on every nominally Muslim government on earth. That’s why Obama was able to get those 5 Arab governments on board to fight them.

thanks for the pic. Yes, some of the Kurdish ladies are smokin’ hot. But the picture tells us everything we need to know about why we should be supporting the Kurds to the hilt and their bid for independence.

I’m also for dropping leaflets (a little Psy Ops action) in the ISIS controlled areas letting them know that the bombs, artillery shells and hellfire missiles are oiled up real good with Bacon grease. Then we’ll find out whether they believe their nonsense Prophet or not.

the investigation I’ve done on the Kurds indicates that they, as a culture, despite their nominal identification with Islam - are not of the jihadist mentality. Not even close. They want a secure and prosperous area of their own and to be free. They have no interest in spreading Islam.

In fact, Christianity is on the rise among Kurds and I haven’t been reading reports about a backlash as I have in other parts of the Middle East. Leave them alone, we’re friends. Try to take what’s theirs, good luck! I like that. That reminds me a lot of America back in the day.

Turkey wouldn't stand for the creation of a Kurdish state on their border. They despise the Kurds, and they were good friends with GWB back when those decisions were being made.
