With all the major screw ups in handling this Ebola crap in Dallas...I’m sure ISIL-ABCD or other Islamic jihadists are taking notes...and probably laughing their Muslim a$$es off.
Yep. And there are probably dozens of jihadis in infected spots in Africa picking up the disease and headed for our shores. They get their virgins for their martyrdom...we get wiped out.
I was trying to come up with some bizarre, completely outlandish scenarios. That one was pretty far out there, I have to admit. What would it take to finally get the LIVs and Gibsmedats to vote for serious leaders? 10 million dead? 20 million?
With the amount of American jihadis (because we are such bad-asses allowing Somalians, Ghanians, and Nigerian muslims to immigrate here), they will advise the leadership about FLU SEASON in the USA, and a culture that commutes 6-50 miles a day to work; not the 4-block culture of Liberia.
RV + 6 mos food/water + mojave desert. Just thinking out loud.
I’ll be in the next canyon over sending you smoke signals.
Time to move to Africa were the infection and survival rates will be better.
I think the following is pretty close to what we can expect, especially since Dallas shows that people act like people world over. Read it at your own risk. Midnight is here and the morning doesn’t look to be bright.
Does the Ebola virus constitute an existential risk?

I was talking to the wife tonight about these convenience stores owned by immigrants. Say a worker comes it with no symptoms. While stocking the shelves he vomits. If this is reported the store will be shut down and all the contents destroyed. Do you think the owner would report it?
Personally, I hope we’re being told the truth and this will be stopped. But I’m not convinced. I can see public events cancelled. No football. No concerts. Movie theaters closed. Even churches. No large gathering of people anywhere. And the national guard at every intersection. Everyone ordered to shelter in place.
Thanks. I tend to agree with the author’s conclusions as well. I’m wondering what the nation and society will look like if we lose 1% of our people; 5%; 10%; 25% or maybe 50%. Complete societal breakdown occurs at what point? When do people stop going to work and producing food, clothing, energy, housing? When does open warfare break out among the survivors?
I am reminded of the film “The Road” which I watched a couple years ago. I thought it was a real stinker at the time, but boy does it look realistic now.
Positive upside, maybe there will be a coup and the Muslim sisterhood will hang
Just when do you bug out? Now? Next month? When you have a case in your state? Your county?
I live in Florida. I remember so clearly when I saw Katrina turn into the Gulf. My son, with new born premie twins lived in New Orleans. I called him and told him to leave NOW. He boarded up and got out before the roads became parking lots.
I fear the entire world is now facing a Katrina. There is no place to run to. We can only prepare, batten down, and wait it out.
The time to stop it in Africa is long past. The rate of increase is greater than any governments can deal with. We will have more time here, but make no mistake, it IS comming.
Yes, people will stop congregating voluntarily. But government “shelter in place” orders for how long? 40 days? 6 months? A year? Who will deliver food? Who will work to produce and deliver food, water, power, and remove sewage?
Exposed people must spend 30 days in “The Slammer” isolation at Ft. Detrick and a good number go insane...after only 30 days. The people locked in the apartment in Dallas are already going nuts.
I say ebola is media sensationalism. We’ve been scared with bird flu word flu turd flu and MRSA, swine flu bine flu pine flu and SARS, hanta virus, banta virus, panta virus and now ebola virus. The very next time there’s a disease that isn’t brought over the border, they will be cooking up all sorts of fears.
It isn’t any different than the OJ Simpson, or how they ramped up before the Branch Davidians were exterminated for their own good, or what the planned to do with the Unibomber trial that never happened because of a plea bargain. Ebola, more after these messages.
It doesn’t change the fact that only a few more than 3000 people have died in an epidemic in Africa, out of hundreds of millions of people who live on the continent. You just know that the liberals in the media are salivating at wet-dream proportions in anticipation of the death of millions of Americans, and then they would get all of the abandoned stuff. Of course it won’t happen, but they will exaggerate the deaths of elderly and otherwise immunocompromised people to make it seem like a huge disaster, and we will all turn on our TVs to the major networks to see what they have to say.
And while we are waiting for real news, we can watch the important messages from the sponsors, and since they have 30 minutes to fill, you can watch the latest Democrat propaganda. So keep playing into their hands and pray that their wish comes true, and that millions of liberals succumb to their epidemic of choice.
I’m really afraid of this.
The one thought that lingers in the back of my mind is—How long before it’s ALL gone?
All this globalism sure had a dark side, didn’t it?
If they don’t contain this I’m picturing complete anarchy and social upheaval.
Chaos and incinerators on the edge of every town.
Lawless gangs of people the likes of which we’ve never even imagined capitolizing on it.
I’ve had many ugly nightmares about the future.
Ebola could turn them into reality.
Most nurses make a good income, typically middle class moms with kids at home and with a built-in nurturing/protective mentality - it’s why they became nurses.
They won’t expose their own children to Ebola.
If this moves past isolated events, the much vaunted first world health care system that will supposedly lead to a different outcome here: it will collapse in hours when few health care workers show up to work.
I wonder what kinds of incentives Dallas Presbyterian is handing out right now to staff their one patient.
Would YOU go to work everyday in your neighborhood hospital’s Ebola ward?
