Well....often on those talking head shows, Brit Hume is the only adult in the room.
Sometimes I wish Brit would tell Kirsten Powers not to mind her pretty little head about all these grownup things in the news.

Beckel is the most inarticulate person on TV. Never mind his views, no one can understand what he says. Half his words never escape those huge flapping jowls. Enunciate Beckel!! Or stay home.
Brit looked and sounded tired last night, even though he was called on to speak for less than two minutes each hour.
Fox could do themselves a favor by ditching the two line vote results slide at the bottom of the screen.

I can count on one finger how many times I heard Tony Snow get angry with a caller to his radio show.
This caller was not a ranting lunatic. He was making very good points, expressing what we all felt at the time. He made a not so nice reference to Bob Beckel. I agreed with him. I am sure many of us did.
Tony cut him off at the pass. He told the caller he knew Beckel. Beckel was his friend and a good man. Goodbye.
That is when I began looking at Beckel beyond the politics. Rough around the edges, vulgar at times, not much of a filter between his mouth & his brain. I think underneath it all, he has a good heart.
When I see him on The Five, I try to see him through the eyes of Tony Snow.

Agreed here. But he really isn’t the best spokesman. Beckel is much better. He can take the punches without getting whiny and shrill like Williams does - and he can occasionally punch back.

Interestingly, though, I then often forget to turn it back up after they leave. The TV might sit for hours with the volume on zero. Listen up, Roger. There are a lot of advertising opportunities that get missed because of these two.
