in my neck of the woods, libraries mostly have to rely on the vote on a levy to support them....why would most people who in the majority vote for such a levy if they were not welcome to come into the library?

In lib central, they regularly vote to slit their throats. Normal rules of sanity don’t apply there.
I have an uncle that recently left that city for that reason. They tried to lien his house for construction he had done with approval years before. They operate under their own rules in NYC/Long Island.

You should have seen my experience the other day at the DMV. AA, female, desk jockey, state trooper screaming in the hallway at some Indian guy who was trying to get a driver’s lic. Head was goin’ all “Egyptian”. It was a sight to behole.....and she had all the “powah”. Disgraceful behavior.

This happened in my wife’s office several years ago. A new (black) boss was hired and she immediately started forcing out all those who had built the place and replacing them with her (black)buds. Biz went to hell and she was gone in eight months but the damage took years to repair.
