“Someone needs to tell me why Michael Brown has been chosen as the face of black oppression,” Scarborough said, arguing the left’s martyrdom of Brown mirrored the right’s lionization of George Zimmerman.
“There are so many great people to embrace as heroes in the black community, that deciding you’re going to embrace a guy who knocked over a convenience store and then according to a Grand Jury testimony acted in ways that would get my children shot? …That’s your hero? That’s the reason you want to burn down black businesses?…Really? This is your mission in life?”
“It’s not a black-white situation,” Donny Deutsch added for reasons that entirely pass understanding. “It’s a thug-police officer situation …This is not doing the black community any favors.”

Agreed. It’s also evil to allow prosecutors accustomed to working for local judicial interests to act as fake prosecutors while defending those interests.

No with Zimmerman is was trying to see the Hispanic guy did not get lynched for defending himself when he was getting his head beaten in by Martin.

I don’t know, I saw some hero worship around here for Zimmerman. Some folks seemed hurt when he further proceeded to step on his crank after his ordeal in FL.
First of all, he looks awful.
2nd...can't believe he agrees with Scarborough.
Divorces are usually messy, even without media scrutiny. Beyond that, what are you referencing? Speeding? Most people speed, at least the ones who pass me like they’re headed to a fire. He saved a whole family’s life soon after being exonerated and the people were so afraid they couldn’t even thank him publically. Did you forget about that?
Nope. I also remember his weird deal hanging around outside a gun shop after it was robbed and his road rage incident. He’s not pure evil, nor is he some saint. He didn’t deserve jail or even a trial for St. Trayvon, but I don’t see how he rates lionization, either.
Look, if George’s father had been Peruvian, and his mother white, he wouldn’t have had a name that indicated he was white. In that case, the Trayvon Martin case would have had about as much publicity as the one-thousand and second black-on-black killing that happened halfway between Trayvon Martin and Michael Brown. But with a last name of “Zimmerman,” it was easy to label him a “white Hispanic,” and we were off to the races.So the whole point of the Zimmerman trial was not George Zimmerman at all - it was white people in general. Therefore, it made perfect sense for us to look at the question of whether he got a raw deal from the justice system. Other than that, George Zimmerman was, and still may be, a Democrat. IOW, not necessarily the brightest bulb in the pack. But that wasn’t relevant to the Trayvon Martin issue.
Morning Schmoe is a chump, but maybe he based Zimmerman to make it safe for him to speak his real opinion about the not-so-gentle giant.

For sure. If anything was 'lionized" about George, it was the proof that even when the attacker is stronger and more physically capable than you, a gun can level the field and save your life - powerful message that the Left wants squashed.

I’ve been thinking of ways to un-seal his juvy murder charge. Find everyone who was murdered within the last 5 years in Brown’s radius, then ask the family who killed their son?
