Frankly, the GOP does not care one bit what voters say in opinion polls.

Both major parties are bought & paid for by our corporate overlords. The GOP has zero interest in changing the status quo.

What makes you think he’s a democrat?

And how exactly are they better than your party...the democrats?

How so? GOP near blank check funding of amnesty makes them co-conspirators. This is a Dem-GOP amnesty, obama-boehnercare, etc. You need to own all of their agenda, FRiend.

Because.....if you don’t vote for them, you’ll get someone like Obama. Wait, what? Never mind......

So the opposition party get nothing despite their large majorities? I’ve never seen it work that way in the past.

The GOP is getting what they want. Amnesty, a spending deal with pork for the big donors, etc.

Main Street can go ahead and ESAD as far as Boehner is concerned. We’re of no interest to beltway types like him.

During the last 26 years we have given the GOP everything they wanted, in the sense of what is possible in politics.

We gave them a third term of the presidency in 1988, the House in 1994, we have given the Presidency/Congress/Senate, we gave them 2010 and 2014, and over and over they prove that they don’t want anything significant to change, that the only real differences with the democrats are relatively minor except on the question of whose people get to be filling the job slots and handling the dispersal of the pork and power.

Over and over they do theatrical near misses trying to appear like they gave it the old college try, but on closer examination, we see that they seem to make sure that they will lose, on rare occasions when they can’t hide it behind a nice little one vote loss, then they will mysteriously or even openly shoot themselves in the foot in some way, to keep from winning a legislative victory that we thought they were fighting for with all their heart.

They are doing that right now, they drove us to the polls thinking we were joined in battle on some major issues against the left, and now we see that is just more of the same, as the GOP desperately maneuvers to avoid victory on those issues.

That is why we have learned that their greatest fear of all, is conservatives getting through primaries and gaining office.

You mean actually get out and WORK to elect conservatives to office? And if no suits your fancy, then running for office yourself? Knocking on doors? Making phone calls? Going to City Council, School Board and County Commission meetings?

That ain’t no fun!!

It’s so much easier to sit at home, watch NCAA and NFL football on Saturdays and Sundays, and peck on the keyboard every once in a while.

I voted Republican because why would anybody EVER vote for ANY Democrat?

Gotta start somewhere, and retiring Democrats is a good place!

It will take some time, effort and money, but I am convinced that in the long run, the good guys (that would be us!) will prevail!

In the meantime, there will be some more pain and suffering.

Consider this though: LIEberal Democrats are feeling more pain and suffering than we conservatives are!

If your mean the ‘hate spewing trolls’ on this thread...yes, all of them are ready to pounce, to hate on the conservatives, and they think I don’t know who they are...’been there done that’ and yes, they are here...time for ignore button.

The Bible speaks about ‘getting what you say’ (paraphrased), and we should ‘call those things that be not as thought they were’...meaning speak positive things so you will get positive things....this bunch is more negative than the Ferguson rioters.

It’s a sad fact that much of the conservative movement is just that.

After the election, everyone goes to sleep as if these guys in Washington will just “handle it”, and then people get annoyed that they have to stay engaged.

McConnell said he wanted to smack the Conservatives right in the mouth... Well Bitchy, take your best shot.

Because Come 16 after you and the Impotent Weeper completely sell out and try making silly excuses for not doing your duty to the people that put you in power you will be castrated politically.

That you can take to the bank! Conservatives will vote based on FACTS and ACTIONS after we put you based on what you SAID you would do.

Their reign will end in 2 years. Post Turtle will become minority patsy again and he will like it. Boehner will retire to die of liver failure due to excessive drinking.

False choice.

How about voting for a conservative.

You can't get rid of liberals in the Democrat party, but you can get rid of liberals in the Republican party by not voting for them in the primary or the general election.

These jack-wagons are unanimously elected to leadership positions in the GOP.

Are we to believe that they don’t represent the true values of the republican party?

I am tired of the games, the false opposition and the back room deals to lock-in re-election. Play the game, and run unopposed (or against and unfunded outsider). Don’t play and get the Alan West treatment - run in a redistricted area with no party support, against a well-funded opponent.

The political class has fixed the game. I am not sure that we the people can take back control without bloodshed, and I’m not sure that enough people feel strongly enough about it to do what may be necessary.

Ugly times are ahead.

I changed my affiliation from Republican to unafilliated. I'm done.

Ditto. No more votes for the spineless, American hating leftists in the GOP. I'm done too. Cruz wants my vote, he'll run on an independent/libertarian/constitutional ticket. I'm done with the GOP. Tired of their lies and backstabbing. I expected them to be better than Democrats. I was mistaken.

There are three Republican Parties.....

the NATIONAL one (Boehner, et al) who do what the Corporatists tell them to do....

The RNC....who TRIES to do what the STATE GOP parties tell THEM to do....

And, the COUNTY GOP parties....the grassroots....(ours happens to be Conservative at this time)

I will only support the COUNTY party....and that is starting to get iffy...

There are people who profit from graft and corruption. They’ll vote for Boehner and McConnell.

Oh give the hate a break, they don’t even take over Congress until January. Geez, you’ve got full guns blasting and the Pubs haven’t even got a majority in Congress yet. Oh, and there’s that Prez with his pen and phone still there in office. What a bunch of Debby Downers. Go take a shower and cool off.
