Pet owners worldwide, including CFPs beloved pet Yorkie, Yankee, can attest by the millions that Fidos have already found Heaven on Earth.
The pithy posts of Father John T. Zuhlsdorf (Father Z) are among my favourite on the Internet. Just as I tune in on my much-admired friend Father Paul Nicholsons inspiring homilies, I read Fr. Zs blog most every day.
Catholic convert Jimmy Akin of Jimmy Akin blog fame is no slouch when it comes to setting the record straight either.
In time for Christmas 2014, visions of sugar plums dancing in their heads, has been replaced by visions of Fido floating felicitously on heavenly clouds.

I'm confused. How can animals who are not allowed in church and can't read the Ten Commandments go to hell?
Of course, the Muslim Koran says that if dogs convert to Islam, they get a free pass into paradise and are greeted by 72 female dog virgins.
God has infinite power. Everything that lives, also dies.
Craven’s cats will get him if he don’t watch out!
Someone on another thread pointed out that there were animals in the Garden of Eden before Adam and Eve sinned. That would have been the closest to Heaven on earth. If God put animals there, (and considered them so important he had Adam name them,) why wouldn’t He put them in Heaven?
Now, whether the Heavenly animals will be the same Fido or Fluffy that we had on earth, I don’t know. I hope so, though.
Oh noooooo, not Basement Cat. Andy may lurk under the bed now and then, but NEVER the BASEMENT.
We live in a top-foor apartment, so for the cat downstairs, Andy IS ceiling cat. And yes, it has gone to his head. What doesn’t?
You big meanie. You DO realize that unhappy cats usually move down the block.
*chuckle* Been there, done that.
Thumbs are the game-changer.
Cats were worshiped as gods by the ancient Egyptians. The cats have not forgotten this.
Oh, they never believe a word I say.
:) I know they don’t. Why should they, mere mortal?
Andy, son of Bastet, the Egyptian cat goddess, reigns from his very tall perch over his entire domain, formerly known as my place.
Here's his mom. You can see clearly where he got his 'tude.
Takes after his mommy, you betcha.
*chuckle* Nailed it.
BS. They don’t sin like we do, they are innocent, therefor they are ALL going to Heaven.
