GM wants you to think lightning bolts. People will think lug-nuts. The management structure in GM must be atrocious if no-one would speak up and point this out.

Focus group research showed that the “Your Chevy dealer has a brand-new Screw for you!” marketing campaign only played well in the San Francisco demographic.

So they changed it to “Bolt”.

The initially were going with Chevy Screw, but it didn’t do well with focus groups.

I think with all the recalls and fires on GM cars, they would change the names of Volt, Bolt, Spark.
Does the Bolt come with the recall notice included?

On my visit to Seattle a few months ago I talked to the guy at the Tesla dealership at length. If they had the free charging stations in Louisville I would buy one for my daily 160 mile round trip commute.

When you look at the whole package at this particular time in history it would be a steal for the price. Not so much in a few years.
