Wednesday morning the House of Representatives voted to pass a Department of Homeland Security funding bill that contains 2 amendments to curtail President Obama’s unconstitutional executive amnesty orders issued in November and in the summer of 2012.
That second amendment, offered by Tennessee congresswoman Marsha Blackburn was opposed by 26 RINO Republicans and was nearly defeated. The Blackburn amendment puts an end to President Obama’s Deferred Deportation(DACA) program for illegal immigrants who were brought to the country as children.
One of the 26 Republicans to vote against the Blackburn DACA amendment was Illinois congressman Adam Kinzinger who told Talking Point Memo that the move to end DACA was , “the wrong message to send for our party.”
This was the second time in a matter of months that Kinzinger has voted to allow the DACA program to continue, which is allowing nearly one million illegal immigrants to avoid deportations, and was used by President Obama as the basis for his expansion of it to cover some 4-5 million more illegal immigrants.
In August Kinzinger was one of 11 Republicans to vote against another measure authored by Marsha Blackburn that was aimed as a preemptive move to stop President Obama from issuing additional amnesty for more illegal immigrants via executive order. At that time Kinzinger’s spokeman said he voted no because it, “would have made our already broken immigration system more confusing and inefficient.”

GOOD message. Get a visa, come to the USA through a Customs and Immigration port with a true I.D, and apply for renewal. This brings rewards...the other has a negative consequence. THIS is the best answer.

The Dreamers should just return to their own countries with the benefits of the education they have received in America and use it to rehabilitate those countries. Folks here suffered and died in the American Revolution and they should go back and make their homelands a desirable place to live, painful as that struggle may be.
IOW’s 26 RINO’s were allowed by the Republican leadership to vote against the amendments in the hopes that they will retain their seats in Blue States 2 years from now.
Sneaking into America to freeload off of the backs of the U.S. taxpayers is really sending a “wrong message”.
We’re not a nation of messages. We’re a nation of laws. Taking a dump on the law is the wrong message. Every time.
