One of the many faces of "fundamental transformation."
“Fundamental transformation” and flagrant law breaking.
The USA learned nothing about him from that episode.
“One of the many faces of “fundamental transformation.””
Yep. And they credit him with saving the auto industry. He only saved the UAW doing what he did.
I’d love to see America’s auto industry now had the auto making companies dissolved “naturally”.
I’m sure the companies that would have been snatched up by someone who knows how to run a business and would have told the unions to pound salt after killing the industry.
Instead, we’re stuck with what we have now until the next time it collapses under the weight of union shortsightedness.

Great quotes from smart men and all 100% true:
...an illegal taking of property from one group of creditors for the benefit of another
dangerous to the rule of law
...tool of social policy
...who will lend to struggling firms in which the government has a political interest?
...make wealth generation more difficult going forward
...most powerful man in the world can rewrite contracts and choose winners and losers in private negotiations as he sees fit
...business will invest minimally and wait for another administration

Under the guidance of Pelousey and Reid?

We live in a banana republic and the Democrats keep giving the U.S. Citizens the banana.
Well the half breed quota boy kicked my dog.
While we scoff...
“GM is alive and Bin Laden is dead” was a pretty good slogan for Baraq.
He won in 2012 with $4 gas, 8% unemployment (13% real), surging food prices, trillion dollar deficits, and a totally failed foreign policy.
