And it’s insane that when someone mentions their lifestyle, others (the commenters on the WaPo site) rip them a new one for how they choose to live their life. Can you imagine a gay man running for office saying in his ad, “And due to the love of my husband John, and our community, I gather the strength to lead America into a bright future...” And then the comments just call him every gay slur in the world? The newspaper would have to shut down! But ripping Christianity, and Cruz because that is what he believes, is seen as normal and OK.

In this day of open season on Christians, I think Senator Cruz’s ad is very much “badass.”
