Wind Turbines ruining landscapes worldwide
Canada Free Press ^ | 04/13/15 | Judi Mcleod

Now in Loch Ness:

The hundreds of thousands of wind turbines polluting the rural landscape of countries near and far can’t talk, though there’s no guarantee that governments won’t some day find a way to have them spying on passing motorists. But the wind turbines ruining the landscape do send out a universal message, a messages that boldly states that Lib-Left governments can—and will—do whatever they want, loud objections from their constituents not withstanding. Modern day governments feel entitled to demoralize taxpayers with projects built with their own tax dollars.

The utter dominance of rural lands by the wind turbine is arrogant and defiant proof that lib-left governments are now on the march, worldwide.

In almost every country where you live, take a cursory look around you the next time you are out driving along country roads.

Flying over WVa. last year I was looking down at the mountains.
Saw two ridges with probably a mile or more each of the nasty things ruining the scene.
None of them turning.
I used to complain about cell towers spoiling the view. Little did I know....

BTW, the tips of those blades can be turning as much as 200mph.

Greenies don’t envision anything outside their little talking points.

Wind farms and Solar farms should be place together so that the birds can be cooked and filleted instantaneously; then collected and delivered to KFC.

Remember how the libs opposed that pipeline in Alaska during the Bush admin, claiming it would be a blight on the “pristine environment” (actually, a bleak tundra), and used photos of a forest a hundred miles away to give a false impression of the pipeline site?

I abhor those things. I remember the first one that went up. We thought it was cool and would ride our snowmobiles up to it. Then another went up and another then we asked when are they going to stop putting these ugly things up. Now they are everywhere around us. They ruin the scenery of the mountains. They fall over, they catch fire, they are noisy. At any given time no more than 50% are turning. In 20 years they are going to be even uglier, rusting after having been abandon due to high cost of maintenance after the subsidies run out.

What’s with the attack? CFP has excellent conservative essayists. This one in particular is outstanding. The uglification of our great nations’ landscapes with windmills has galled me for 30 years here in California. They blight some of our most magnificent vistas here. I loathe the infernal things.

Thanks for posting this, Sean.

***Western Kansas is littered with these uglified monstrosities. Totally hideous.***

Same for the panhandles of Oklahoma and Texas. We were traveling 412 through Oklahoma as I have done many times before. Suddenly I said “What the hell is that!” The entire hills behind Fort Supply were not covered with these monstrosities.
Same for the Dalhart TX area.

Wonder what the greenies will say when a wind farm starts whacking Condors and Eagles.

Is it that big a deal? I go there to read the articles, same as I go to American Thinker, Powerline, FrontPage, TownHall, PJ Media, HotAiretc. I don’t participate there...always come here for the sensible discussion without the rabid nonsense.

I’m talking about the endless complaints we hear about “blog pimps” here and the people who waste bits complaining about them. Who cares? Just skip his stuff.

Why don’t you quit complaining and wasting bits and look into freerepublic’s preference for bloggers?

You can’t seem to let it go, and your buddy is long gone.
