Hillary? Rand Paul? Ted Cruz? Marco Rubio?
Four major candidates have stepped forward to run for the Democratic and Republican nominations for president, and a few more are sure to follow soon.
Their entrances into the race couldnt be more different. Republicans Marco Rubio, Rand Paul, and Ted Cruz went the more traditional route with kickoff events. Hillary Rodham Clinton went big on social with a much anticipated video and tweet combination, but is keeping events low-key to start except for a Monday evening visit to Chipotle.
So whos winning the media battle at this very early stage? Take our poll below or tweet at @PRWeekUS to have your say.
Poll
Which early presidential candidate is winning in the media?
Hillary Clinton: Her announcement made the biggest splash. And look at the coverage shes getting just for stopping by Chipotle.
Ted Cruz: A traditional entry to the race to be sure, but he understands his partys base.
Rand Paul: Hes much more social media savvy than his rivals for the GOP nod.
Marco Rubio: Hes the only candidate to clearly differentiate himself from the pack with his youthful message.
Cruz knows who the enemy is..and isn’t cenrally concerned about them. I sense he’s completely focused on taking the stand on the moral high ground and the goal of wresting this nation away from the scum who would run her into the ground.
hes in no way tainted with egoism and the coloration it would mark any other sort of campaign with.
The left senses this..and thats what scares em to death!
Marco Rubio: Hes the only candidate to clearly differentiate himself from the pack with his youthful message. 14.15% (15 votes)
Rand Paul: Hes much more social media savvy than his rivals for the GOP nod. 6.6% (7 votes)
Hillary Clinton: Her announcement made the biggest splash. And look at the coverage shes getting just for stopping by Chipotle. 5.66% (6 votes)
Total Votes: 106
Hillary: “And look at the coverage shes getting just for stopping by Chipotle” (where NO ONE RECOGNIZED HER).
74.19% for Ted Cruz.
Cruz y Rubio!
” hes in no way tainted with egoism and the coloration it would mark any other sort of campaign with.
The left senses this..and thats what scares em to death!”
And the Establishment Republicans are on their third scotch & water by 9:00 AM....well at least Boner is : )
Ted Cruz is beating the snot outta the media and doing well fund raising to boot.
“If Cruz pulls out in front, they will try to destroy him.”
Betsy Woodruff has started the ball rolling with Cruz’s big donors.
In the Media? Cankles. But from our side, Rubio is getting the most press buzz.
“Well, it helps when you know what you actually believe, and ARE NOT AFRAID TO articulate it.”
” Betsy Woodruff has started the ball rolling with Cruzs big donors.”
Nothing about Hillary donations from global drug lords, muslim terrorists, or communist dictators : )
I too Cruzed to his victory.
Going into the media enemy camp and polling who is their pick for president is an exercise in futility, they all walk in lockstep for liberals.
You’d get more truth from taking a poll in North Korea what they thought of Dear Leader.
Hillary Clinton. Most of the press has her campaign buttons and act as her mouthpiece.
It’s a reader poll in which you and I can participate. Go look and see who is winning.
He’s certainly way out of step with the Run of the [ Gin ] Mill Republicans. isnt he.!
Cruz y no Rubio.
