The conjecture is that there’s not a lot of sympathy in the polls for the “protesters”.
But it’s not “racist” if the “rioters” are thugs. It’s a fact.
“Aspiring rapper”?
CNN since Clinton has said she is running has turned more left than MSNBC.
Same here.
I do not let the left dictate my words.
They are till homosexuals not gay.
They are still illegals not undocumented.
It is not the dream act it is amnesty.
They are not African Americans they are black because whites can be African too which shows how dumb these people are when they use the term African American.
The list goes on and on.
“Thugs have their origin in muslim India.”
India has numerous deities. Most people do not know that it was the British Empire that wiped out Thuggee in India.
Calling these criminals “thugs” is proper American usage, but the original Thugs were far better organized and vicious. They viewed killing others as a sport and a sacrament, and they had elaborate procedures to allow them to get away with it. They may easily have murdered a million people over the years in India. Your wikipedia source has it right.

Isn’t Thug a pejorative for5 “Thugee” which is a term for murderous highway robbery cult in British Colonial India?
So wouldn’t the term “Thug” only be offensive for People from India?
Actually, for me, the most shocking thing in this story is that a CNN personality is condemning what the thugs did.
This is along the line of the AA NFL employees who had some of them ‘upset’ because they or a Ref was called a (rhymes with Bigger).
The PC NFL jumped right into the fray, BANNING the word from being used on ANY NFL property, stadium, office (much like the Gun Free and Drug Free Zones) which prompted the same people that complained originally to bring suit (at least complain vigorously)saying THEY were being singled out and the banning of THE word was discriminating against them as they were the only ones that used it and even then it was in an endearing mood, not racial or derogatory.
When scorecards were first being sold in stadiums, the hawkers used to say
“Get your score cards, Can’t tell the players without a scorecard”...
apparently people didn’t get it or couldn’t comprehend it as the names of MOST players are now printed on the back of the Jerseys...
a couple of teams have held out.
I wonder if these teams sell more scorecards than the stadiums that have teams with names on Jerseys?????
Do the sales of scorecards go UP when the no name on Jersey teams are on the road????
Do sales go out of sight when BOTH teams have no players names on Jerseys????
Ought to get away from this HRC and Baltimore etc BS and dig up some ‘useful’ facts......//sarc//
If “Thug” is racist, I’m guessing that “Nug” is going to be an issue too.
Wait. She’s not “comfortable” with calling them “thugs” but she’s okay with calling them “criminals” even though only a certain percentage may have committed crimes.
Why not just call them “rap artists”? Would that make her more “comfortable”. How about “Melatonin enriched financial opportunists”?
Meanwhile, in another thread a local councilman also got mad about his fellow balck polis using that word. And CNN girl got irritated about it.
I am so sick of everyone getting absolutely up in arms over A WORD, ANY word, ruining lives over it, but pillaging and looting and killing? That requires reasoned debate, and cannot automatically be condemned.
“Thug Behram or Buhram (ca 17651840), also known as Buhram Jemedar and the ‘King of the Thugs’, was a leader of the Thuggee cult active in Oudh in northern central India during the late 18th and early 19th century, and is often cited as one of the world’s most prolific serial killers. He may have been involved in up to 931 murders by strangulation between 17901840 performed with a ceremonial cloth (or rumal, which in Hindi means handkerchief), used by his cult.[1][2][3] Behram was executed in 1840 by hanging.”

Ridiculous. PC police are out of control.
