Just as an exercise in curiosity, I’m going to try to think like a socialist. And since I really have no earthly idea how socialists come up with the ideas they embrace, I’m going to let Bernie Sanders get me rolling. Tell me, Bernie, your thoughts on economic growth:
The whole size of the economy and the GDP doesn’t matter if people continue to work longer hours for low wages and you have 45 million people living in poverty. You can’t just continue growth for the sake of growth in a world in which we are struggling with climate change and all kinds of environmental problems. All right? You don’t necessarily need a choice of 23 underarm spray deodorants or of 18 different pairs of sneakers when children are hungry in this country. I don’t think the media appreciates the kind of stress that ordinary Americans are working on. People scared to death about what happens tomorrow.
So let me see if I have this straight: Children are hungry, and hungry people need food, but there isn’t enough food for them because, instead of producing food, 23 different companies are making spray deodorant, and 18 different companies are making sneakers. Why, they could be producing food!

I went to a store in Germany that sold products from the USSR. They had canned meat and canned fish. The meat can was labled ‘MEAT’ and the canned fish was labeled ‘FISH’.

Yet we're besieged with a barrage of radio and tv ads bewailing all the starving people. My question is: where are all these starving people? Everywhere I go I see lots of jumbo sized children and adults. Emaciated, starving wretches are not in sight.

in the 21st century, Bernie Sanders still clings with all his heart to a failed 19th century fantasy ideology, with 19th century view of the world to deal with 19th century problems.

Bernie knows that his brand has been thoroughly tested by competent government inspectors, and found to be totally compliant with "The Underarm, Nostril, and Olfactory Nerve Protection Act of 2015".
Here are those official government inspectors, who work for the "Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Underarms".

Remember about thirty years ago when people went on a “generic foods” kick? Suddenly the grocery store were filled with generic brands. After a few months people realized they liked their choices in foods!
yeah man this guy looks and sounds insane. He needs to go away but fast. But I think he would be a breeze to beat in the presidential election. he would get the DU and kos vote.
