Scott Walker hasnt yet said that hes running for president. But the Wisconsin governor is working to brand himself as the plain-speaking, Miller-drinking, cheap-clothes-wearing candidate who understands the struggles of the middle class. And he rides a Harley.
This weekend is an opportunity to showcase it: Hes taking part in a Roast and Ride fundraiser for Iowa Sen. Joni Ernst (R), who drew national attention last year when she ran campaign ads saying that she castrated hogs growing up on a farm and that she isnt afraid to make em squeal in Washington. (Walkers political organization recently hired Ernsts former strategist, David Polyansky.)
At least seven presidential candidates or likely candidates are expected to attend the Ernst Roast and Ride, but but Walker will probably be the only one to ride. Campaigns are quietly being advised not to put a politician on a bike if he or she doesnt know how to safely operate it. Ernst said she offered to let Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.) ride on the back of her hog.

Joni Ernst
Just what we need—a biker president! LOL!
Could you imagine the volunteers for Secret Service detail when the president wants to go out riding?
This legislative sessions shows WHY Rick Perry was not a very good gov. The highway bill just signed required ALL gas taxes to go for hiway repair and building - no more diversions. For the first time the hiway department MUST produce a list of problems of congestion and repair needs IN ORDER of need...not in order of PORK. A slush fund for picking winners in the “start up world” was cancelled. OH yea the HIway dept must make a report of how on will it take for each toll road to be paid off and so the tolls can be eliminated. Perry never saw a toll road that could not be built. Also new lower property taxes and business taxes. /not a Perry voter but a happy to be in Texas voter
Rick Perry isn’t governor.
But he left the state in good shape.
Lol.
: )
John Kerry would be there, but he broke his leg riding his Harley..........
His femur broke near his hip replacement.
I expect he'll be down for awhile.
not because he did not try to be the biggest cronycaptialist governor in history. He was stopped and left by tea party folks. HIs true record of singing and EEC order for all 10 year old girls to get gardisal is about as well know outside of TX as his true spending and failed ideas... see TRANS TEXAS corridor.
You have your opinion. It’s a free country, for the moment.
Heres John McCain on a relief break during a white hut meeting.
Hmmm.....a valance hanger.......seems to me they used to call Hitler a “paper hanger”......significance?
