Gays have already destroyed the American Catholic Church.

No they haven't.

I agree with you. That’s how it will happen. Treasonous or weak people within the Church will simply go along to get along, not even with the necessity of an official proclamation.

When Henry VIII proclaimed his own church, there was only one bishop who resisted. All of the other bishops and almost all of the secular clergy were perfectly fine with ripping out the statues of Our Lady and tearing down the crucifixes and doing whatever the newly empowered State told them to do.

The Pope (Clement VII) at the time was weak and had a track record of fleeing attacks on Rome. I don’t think he was complicit - although I’m not sure about the current Pope, and that’s one of the difficult things about this - but he didn’t deal with the situation very well.

The English people who resisted were for the most part simple laity and order priests. Of course, all the major religious orders here have already been undermined, so I guess it’s up to us laypeople now.

Refer to it as “Holy Matrimony” and the Church remains exempt.

Catholics should be asking themselves why their utterly useless pope doesn’t personally excommunicate Anthony Kennedy for heresy.

Kennedy's job is to interpret the Constitution, not the Bible. Death penalty cases come up and while the church does not totally prohibit it, they are none to happy about it.Divorce laws, homosexual rights as citizens, a myriad of things that he cannot base his decisions on the church law but must concentrate on the civil law.

Two men are not qualified to receive SACRAMENTAL marriage, women are not qualified to receive the SACRAMENT of Holy Orders....it just can’t be done.

Qualifications mean nothing to committed activists; which is why seminaries were rife with homos when the gloves came off in the 1960’s, and which is also the means by which a fraudulent homo marriage will occur...

After which, it is up to the Vatican to take the next step, and based on its recent history with innovative practices (Communion in the hand, for instance) it would appear the Holy See might just ‘go with the flow’...

MD Priest calls out unfaithful Catholics homosexuals in priesthood that set stage for USSC decision

Please take a look-and a listen. A priest eloquently and faithfully speaks of the impact of the ruling. It's more than worth it.

The biggest problem for the Catholic Church isn’t going to be the legal pressure from homosexuals to do these “marriages.” It’s going to be the number of priests and bishops who are perfectly comfortable giving their blessing to these diabolical relationships without any pressure at all.

Thank you for mentioning that. The Bishop was St. John Fisher. I believe all Christian churches will be affected by this- we need to maintain courage of conviction in a world turned upside down. If any of you haven’t seen it, watch the dvd “A Man For All Seasons” the story of a man who put his God above everything and thus would not go against his conscience. Made in 1966, starring Paul Scofield. No dissing; it’s about standing up for what you believe in, at all costs.

Lol! NO...they have not and NEVER will.

They'll overplay their hand. Even the non-radical homos are saying it's over. They got what they wanted. Anything beyond that is going too far.

REMEMER THIS......

"Incite your enemies to anger, and then use that anger against them - Saul Alinski."

This is why oboma and the radical homos are rubbing their nasty genitals in everyone faces. They want anyone who opposes them to get angry - reeeeeal angry. They not only want mean and angry words - they want violence. Just think of what oboma could do with a manufactured crises like that!

The couple will have to be up on completion of the other required sacraments to receive the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.

Gigantic earthquakes, tsunamis, volcanic eruptions, and Wormwood here we come....the last think the homos will think about doing is making a straight bake them a cake when they’re running from lava, waves, and asteroids, not to mention poisoned water.

The government can tell people WHO they must serve, but they can't tell people WHAT they must provide. If the church only has one ritual, then that's all they do. One ritual. The gays will just have to like the man/woman holy matrimony (otherwise it's not holy) or maybe find somewhere that has more than one specific ritual.
The homos have to be offered a holy union between only a man and a woman in the eyes of God ritual, though, or it'll be illegal. (They won't be married in the eyes of God either, because the ritual wasn't given for a man/man/it or whatever. It will be given to the air floating around in the room, because there's no bride and groom present. )

While I agree that they will most certainly make a effort to do this, I also believe there is a fix for it.

Marriage, as defined by the government, is the legal contract...ie: The Marriage License. You have to get one, no matter if you are married by a church or a clerk at city hall or the County Judge.

What churches do is to perform the matrimonial ceremony. The government issues the marriage license.

All churches need to do is to refuse to get involved with the government issued marriage license and only perform the Holy Matrimony Ceremony for whomever they wish to do it for.

Be they members only, for one possible option, of simply not do it at all..

The ceremony could also be modified to eliminate the pastoral marriage portion “I now declare you” and simply bless the marriage under the authority of God..

If we want to close mosques, let’s ask them to do a gay wedding and sue them when they refuse. Either it will destroy mosques or protect religious objection.

When Mary I died and Bloody Bess took over, only one bishop said yes to her demands. All the others held firm with the Catholic Church and were put under house arrest and those who did not die under house arrest died later having wasted away in prison. At least one bishop escaped the country, Cuthbert Scot.

Speaking of Henry VIII, he asked Lord Montague how he liked the new church and Montague said, "Now when you offendeth, you may now absolve yourself."

To trick people into supporting their cause they will get very ordinary looking homosexuals and lesbians to be the face of their cause.

Yep. They put a "pretty and fun" mask on all the vile homos so no one will see the real them. The perverts even carry a pretty pony flag. Isn't that just adorable?
That's how the left wins.

Change the language and they change the debate. (Homos are far from gay. The homos are most certainly self loathing and hate anyone else who's living a normal, happy life. The mask they wear sure is deceiving, isn't it?)

We can't tear off their masks because the American people don't like negativity. They're stressed enough as it is just trying to get by. So, all we have to do is allow the homos to remove their own masks so the whole world can see the monsters hiding behind them.
(Evil always sows the seeds of it's own demise)

That excuse will not fly with the Creator. No wonder Christ said to remember Lot’s wife. More of them than the Goliath pagans. Let the plagues begin.

Actually that would be his bishop's job. What is his supposed Diocese and who is his Bishop? DC (Wuerl)? Arlington (Loverde)? Baltimore/Maryland (Lori)?

No hope with Wuerl, I think. He's one of the (pause for fast check of my Bad-Adjective Thesaurus)--- the, uh --- let's just say he wouldn't do it.

Loverde? Lori?

I've heard that about abortion. That it's not only our sin, it's also, in itself, it's God's judgment upon us. Letting us have what we said we wanted,m the natural and logical consequences of our choices.

Hosea 9:11-12

No conception, no pregnancy, no birth...
Were they to bear children, I would slay the darlings of their wombs...
I will make them childless, until not one is left.

Better late than never, I guess.

One of the problems with the English bishops under Henry VIII is that they really never expected to find themselves in such a situation, and in fact Henry had originally been considered a defender of the Faith. Also, the issue itself may have seemed to them to be trivial, although as things escalated, they must have realized that there was definitely a final confrontation going on.

I read once that in a time of persecution, the people you expected to be those who would remain firm until the end were often those who gave way immediately, and those nobody expected would often be the martyrs.
