Senseless and preventable act of violence owned by an ideologically bankrupt Obama administration, corrupt San Francisco officials, and everyone else who would take the side of foreign criminals over Americans.
On Monday, illegal alien Francisco Lopez-Sanchez, a 45-year-old repeat drug offender who had been deported five times, was charged with killing Kathryn Steinle, 32, at Pier 14 in the “sanctuary city” of San Francisco. The details surrounding this case are a testament to the multi-layered bankruptcy of progressive ideology.
We begin with the contemptible notion of a sanctuary city itself. Despite the passage of the Illegal Immigration Reform and Responsibility Act of 1996 requiring cities to cooperate with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) and Immigration Customs and Enforcement (ICE), there are literally hundreds of cities in the nation that provide safe haven for illegal aliens in open defiance of federal law. Yet, because that law conflicts with progressive sensibilities, not a single lawsuit has ever been filed by the federal government against a sanctuary city for violating it. In a revealing contrast, the Obama administration has filed suit against states such as Arizona, Alabama and South Carolina that were attempting to enforce federal immigration law. The administration claimed the states had no right to do so—despite the reality the administration itself refuses to do so.

Totally agree. And this doesn’t count the many other crimes we don’t know about. Hey, lawbreaking goes around, we just don’t need more that are preventable, strict border controls, kids won’t get dope and so on.
Plus, encouraging illegal immigration just helps the Coyotes and their abuse of migrants down south of the border.
Sadly, I suspect the pretty victim was probably a big leftie who supported sanctuary cities...

What places like San Francisco are is "illegal alien hideouts" ... much more descriptive of their true purpose.
Someone posted that on FR last night, it’s a shockingly long list. They are all over the country, many states have multiples.
Donald Trump may not be a serious candidate, but you have to hand it to him for putting the subject of the criminality of illegals on the front page right around the time this murder occurred. This morning, the local news here in the Houston area covered the story, and mentioned that Houston is a sanctuary city as well. This is the first time that the term “sanctuary city” has had a somewhat derogatory sound about it in the media.
I’m also in the Houston area and you know how often we hear of drunk drivers who kill then they mention the driver was an illegal.... I wish all of those surviving family members affected would come forward so the entire country could see how many crimes/deaths have been caused by illegals

Truth is both parties have prevented the full implementation of the 1986 laws that were passed at the time of the last amnesty that were supposed to prevent another amnesty being needed.
Instead we find ourselves with 10 times the number of illegal aliens that were amnestied last time.
The only solution our political leaders seem to have is another amnesty.

A muni-bond expert recently exposed city bond financing schemes as a house of cards (Chicago). Examining city bond documents uncovered taxpayers were royally rooked---and were paying billions for:

If these sanctuary city bonding deals were effectuated by way of referendum at the ballot box----and misled investors into buying tax-fee muni bonds----the SEC would be interested.

The problem now is, the socialist in the White-house and the DOJ supports the invading foreign Nationalist coming into this country (so long as they are of color) in order to change the demographics (whites) of this once great nation!
Bill O’Reilly wants Kate's law that will mandate five years in prison for returning after being deported! Why not make it a felony with a mandatory ten years in prison for entering the country illegally! Charge the offending country for the expense in housing these illegals in our prisons by taking the money from the money we send these countries every year!!!
