The Iranian Nuclear Program Deal is History Repeating Itself

“Those who do not learn from history are doomed to repeat it” – George Santayana

30 September 1938 after signing of the Munich Agreement British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain declared “Peace for Our Time.” Despite the jubilation, Adolf Hitler had no intention of honoring the agreement and invaded Poland.

The Iran nuclear deal is similar to the 1994 Agreed Framework Bill Clinton signed with the North Koreans. During his press conference he said “This is a good deal for the United States.” “North Korea will freeze and then dismantle its nuclear program. South Korea and our other allies will be better protected. The entire world will be safer as we slow the spread of nuclear weapons.” Now they have nukes.

Eleven years later Obama said in an address “Iran is permanently prohibited from pursuing a nuclear weapon under the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which provided the basis for the international community’s efforts to apply pressure on Iran.” History will be repeating itself because there is no such provision in the Iran Deal. Obama and his administration have no sense of History.

Obama and Iran’s President Hassan Rouhani hailed the nuclear agreement struck with US-led world powers. Obama celebrates because he believes this will be a legacy of his time as sovereign, until Major Garrett asked a legitimate question at a celebratory news conference. Iran is celebrating because they know it’s a joke. The deal legitimizes Iran’s nuclear program. Iran will keep its core nuclear facilities, continue research to develop nuclear weapons, develop missiles, and some sanctions have been lifted. Inspections what inspections? Iran can cheat all they want without the fear of the United Nations’ nuclear watchdog agency timely inspections of nuclear facilities.

...Peace in our time...

Immediately followed by the government’s reassuring words,
“Go home and get a nice quiet sleep.”

The real question is, “Where is the best place to be when WW3 starts?”

Can we actually say Chamberlain was in cahoots with Hitler and shared the same dream for the destruction of innocents? I don’t know all that much about Chamberlain, I know far more about Churchill, but I don’t think it’s fair to compare him to Obama. Obama wanted this deal to benefit him and his terrorist buddies.

According to the Mark Steyn, while Chamberlain was wrong to sign the Munich Agreement and hand over chunks of the Sudetenland to Czechoslovakia to appease Adolf Hitler, he was an “honorable man.” On the other hand, Steyn says Obama’s agreement with Iran is “significantly worse” than Chamberlain’s decision, saying he is facilitating Iran’s “re-entry into the global community.”

“I think actually that’s rather unfair to Neville Chamberlain,” Steyn told Hannity. “He got the central question of the 1930s wrong, but he was an honorable man who believed he was acting in the interests of his country and the British Empire which he loved.”

Chamberlain was misguided and he was later very sorry for what he had done. He continued to serve the British people during the war.

owebama, on the other hand, is diabolical and evil and he is doing this on purpose in order to destroy the USA and the Western powers.

Reminds me of Lemay saying something like, “I can’t tell the difference between unlucky and incompetent. I can’t afford to have either in my Command”.
