Jesus believed/taught personal responsibility, personal righteousness (integrity/honesty), respect for others, personal charity . He taught that these should be done at the personal level rather than the collective or government level. Jesus shunned government and established political groups, focusing on the individual relationship with God the Father for support, justice, logic and spiritual support.

How in the world would that be confused with social liberalism? Which rejects individualism, righteous living (morals), and God?

If there is a political home for Christ in today’s life it is only in the honesty, charity, forgiveness and transcendence beyond all things political.

by the way, I am a conservative, and a devout believer and follower of Christ (Mormon)

He had a job for 30 years, so no...not a socialist. Not a vegetarian, or a Nancy Boy, either. Mark 8:11.

Fact: They know this.

Jesus is NOT a liberal socialist. Socialists steal wealth at gun point. To the best of my knowledge Jesus never stole anything at all. By definition he could not possibly be a socialist.

Fact:

“Since I try to justify myself as a good person
by thinking I’m “giving” to the poor
by advocating for theft from my fellow citizen,
I want to try to rope Jesus into my thievery.”
