Trump is a Liberal (Vanity)

Posted on 08/03/2015 9:23:24 AM PDT by demshateGod

I won't take a lot of time on this. Trump's liberalism is well documented: gun control, abortion, Sodomite rights, illegal immigration, giving to the Clinton Foundation, taxes, single-payer, not a sincere Christian, and whatever else you got.

He's a liberal. I will not vote for a liberal. People on FR are being duped by the media into nominating someone who turns off a huge chunk of the base. Even if Trump can pull in enough Low Information Votes to become president, the conservatives still lose.

The GOP-wing of the Democrat party shoved Gerald Ford, Bush I, Bob Dull, Bush II, Juan McQueeg and Milt Romley down our throats over the past 40 years. The only time they failed gave us Ronald Reagan. If you leave it up to the GOP-wing of the Democrat party, Jethro Bush will be your candidate.

Donald Trump is the only candidate capable of thwarting the will of the GOP-wing of the Democrat party.

Trump is friends with many of the right people (Palin, Cruz, etc.)

He was friends with Jeb Bush also before he ran against him.

“Florida Governor Jeb Bush is a good man. I’ve held fundraisers for him. He’s exactly the kind of political leader this country needs now and will very much need in the future. He, too, knows how to hang in there.” ~Donald Trump

If I listened to all the self-righteous sandwich-making potatoes on FR, I’d have left a decade ago...

Photo is 10 yrs. old...from 2005 Trumps Wedding reception. Of which Bill never made it to the wedding but arrived for the reception...

Here’s Trumps response....

“I’m a businessman, I contribute “to everybody,” Trump told Fox & Friends on July 15. (Note: PunditFact has found to be the case.)

..... “That’s part of the problem with the system. I contribute to everybody. When I need Hillary, she was there. If I say go to my wedding, they go to my wedding. I contribute to everybody and you know what, that’s part of the problem with our system.”

Trups friends with all the right wrong people as well...whatever it takes to keep the Trump machine operating....and most common with successful people.

I saw this clearly in my former work....elites all know each other...some closer than others but they keep them all in view to “use” when they might need the and that’s a mutual unspoken agreement.

Oddly I experienced it myself when I took a position which required a lot of community and industry involvement. All of a sudden people who didn’t give me the time of day now were making certain they were seen in my company when it mattered that they did. You learn to “sift” through them.

I assume you will Voting Third Party, The Ban Abortion and Gay Marriage Party.

I will vote for the Republican candidate, UNLESS it is one who is pro-abort or pro-homo "marriage." That's where I draw the line.

You are a relative newby to this site ????

I resent you saying that I am being duped. Me, low information? Ha.

There is no respectable comparison between Trump and that ass clown presently in the white house.

I am sitting back like others and watching. I am never going down the road of the GOPe again.

You may be correct there but I still don't trust Trump enough; nor do I know enough about his policy stands to put him at the top of the ticket, that could change when he starts talking about the nuts and bolts of his policies and beliefs.
Currently he is just hitting the national hot buttons that he knows people care about. I want to know the specifics of how the boarder wall be built, which Obastard executive orders will he rescind, what type of judges would he select for the federal courts and supreme court.
What type of ideas does he have on the current tax system and how could it be improved, what Obastard appointees will he fire, who would he replace them with.
From our current position of political and military weakness in the world; how would he purpose we stop, or at least slow down the Putin and Insane Raghead expansion of their power.
I don't have a beef with Trump one way or the other, but I do have questions and would like to hear some policy outlines.

‘This Week’ Transcript: Donald Trump
Aug 2, 2015

At 2:40 min on the video:

KARL: OK. So let me get — you've been very harsh in your assessment of Jeb Bush especially. But let's look back at what you wrote in your book, “The America We Deserve.”

You said, of Jeb Bush, “He is exactly the kind of political leader this country needs now and we very much need in the future. He's bright, tough and principled.”

And not just Jeb Bush; of Hillary Clinton, you said, just in 2012, “She's a terrific woman, works hard and I think she does a good job.”

George Pataki, you said was the most underrated guy in American politics.

Rick Perry, you said, is a very effective governor; Texas is lucky to have him.

I mean, now you're declared Hillary the worst secretary of state ever; Pataki, the worst governor of New York ever and you said Rick Perry's too dumb maybe to be in the debate.

TRUMP: It's a very simple answer to that. I was a business man all my life. I've made a tremendous fortune. I had to deal with politicians and I would contribute to them and I would deal with them and certainly I'm not going to say bad things about people because I needed their support to get projects done. I needed their support for lots of things or I may have needed their support, put it another way.

I mean, you're not going to say horrible things and then go in a year later and say listen, can I have your support for this project or this development or this business. So I say nice about almost everybody and I contributed to people because I was a smart business man. I've built a tremendous company. And I did that based on relationships.

Now I'm no longer a business man. Now I'm somebody that wants to make our country great. And the tone is too weak. You know, they're telling me and Jeb — I understand what he's saying. He said the tone, the tone. And Hillary used the exact SAE word, the tone of Trump.

But we need a tough tone. They're beheading our people in — I mean, they're beheading Christians, the world is going —

You’re both correct. As happy that I am that Trump figured out what to say, and so it is on the table, his history on issues is much more liberal; about the same as Bush’s.

Ok? So whom do you want all of these people to support?

I’m backing Cruz, and I’m not screaming at the Trump people for getting behind someone that is hitting the right notes and getting them excited.

Right now, outside of Cruz, the rest of the GOP field is too damn scared to do much more than go through the motions or hide behind press releases.

And since Cruz is not attacking Trump, then that shows me that the vitriol by some here is way off-base, and comes from mostly envy than a substantive thing so far in this election, which is still more than a year out.

Take some time to watch a couple of short videos. Who says we have to like our presidents? I want someone who can’t be stampeded. Huckabee is solid and experienced.
