All Kelly did was read the results of a Fox News Poll. She wasn’t pushing the gang of 8 bill on the video. She was interviewing Sen. Lee about his concerns.
I don’t know what her views on amnesty were back then. I do know that Trump called for a path to citizenship in 2012 and recently called for “merit system” amnesty.
If you want to knock Kelly for the debate, fine. I thought her questions a bit negative to several candidates. But bringing up this video is nonsense. She said nothing wrong at all in it.

I want legal citizenship dependent on two things. One, Christian, Two would be high school or higher education. Three, I know I only said two but hey.... Ability to NEVER apply for government assistance. Who ever sponsors them, or if they self sponsor, the money to live free of the governments shekels.
However we decide the status of people who came here in violation of federal law, who live here in violation of federal law, and who hold jobs here in violation of federal law, we must NEVER give them the right to vote.
This must be one of the costs of violation of federal law and it must also be the penalty to the politicians who did not do enough to stop the flood of illegal immigration in hopes of subverting the political process.
Of course, what does this say about these immigrants? They come mainly from Mexico and central America. We know there are a large number of criminals and under-educated people. And we also know that the Democrat party assumes that when they get the right to vote, they will vote Democrat.
And 60% of the people support gay marriage. Just because a majority of people approve of something doesn't mean it's right.
I fully support a pathway to citizenship for illegal aliens.
The first step on the pathway is to go back home. The second step is to get in line and apply for a visa like everyone else who wants to come here.
