Ann Coulter's been shilling for Donald Trump for quite a while now, and on immigration and a lily-white GOP-led America-first-in-everything, they are, rhetorically at least, on the same page.
But Ann's gone over the falls lately, descending into hero-worship with a series of tweets promoting Trump's long-awaited position on "immigration reform that will make America great again" (and is paired well with a fine Chianti).
First, she called it "the greatest political document since the Magna Carta" (so the Constitution is chopped liver?).
The greatest political document since the Magna Carta - http://t.co/l7nq8gN7i5 Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) August 16, 2015
Then she compared it to Ronald Reagan. IT'S MORNING IN AMERICA, AGAIN! @realDonaldTrump's Immigration policy paper - http://t.co/l7nq8gN7i5 Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) August 16, 2015
And finally, Ann crossed over into demented lunacy when she proclaimed that abortion is less evil than illegal immigration.
I don't care if @realDonaldTrump wants to perform abortions in White House after this immigration policy paper. http://t.co/l7nq8gN7i5 Ann Coulter (@AnnCoulter) August 16, 2015
@AnnCoulter @realDonaldTrump Coulter flew over the cuckoo's nest. Abortion is more evil than illegal immigration, Ann. Steve Berman (@lifeofgrace224) August 17, 2015
Trump's pro-life credentials are not believable, and he's flipped on the issue more than an Olympic gymnast. He's even gone so far as to claim Planned Parenthood does some good work and should retain some federal funding, a position he shares with Hillary Clinton, who called for PP's investigation. I think Ann Coulter should clarify (retract? walk back? denounce? claim insanity?) her unwise tweet and resume being a (albeit borderline white supremacist) conservative before she totally loses all credibility.
@AnnCoulter @realDonaldTrump Don't care about murdered babies? Good to know, liberal. Nick Johnson (@pastornick) August 16, 2015
@AnnCoulter: I don't care if Trump wants to perform abortions in WH after this immigration policy paper" @moxiemom Ann skipped her meds. CoolCzech (@CoolCzech1) August 16, 2015
If we shouldn't take Ann's tweet "literally" how should we take it? Like Joe Biden's "literally"?
@AnnCoulter @realDonaldTrump The abortion bit is not to be taken LITERALLY. Sheesh, people! Mac Breck (@MacBreck) August 16, 2015
Her specialty is hyperbole. Trump’s immigration paper was great.
sounds to me like Stevie is trolling for some hits and relevance to his site.
Who cares what he thinks?
You do realize that lifeofgrace IS Berman?
It's not as if he's just an awestruck fanboy or something...
The world of politics is full of people that finds a policy, candidate or party that’s so “awesome” that it doesn’t matter if they were to perform abortions in the White House.
This is exactly why millions of supposedly “pro-life’ people continue to vote Democrat year after year.
I just wish Coulter would go away.
Click bait for an obscure blog...no thanks.
Four years ago, she was begging Christie to get into the race.
No I didn’t, but still looks to me like blog pimping.
We would have to go through it line by line and compare it with actual Trump positions to get to the truth of Trump’s positions. Ann, on the other hand, is given to hyperbole.
FWIW, illegal immigrants are prime targets of the abortion industry, so in a sense, illegal immigrants are desired clientele. The eugenicists, as Ben Carson points out, use abortion as a tool to reduce the minority population.
Importing illegals is not the same as abortion, but it is working to provide abortionists with customers.
Ann. Didn’t you mean to say “ abort the current residents of the White House”
No need to thank me....
Well, what is the Constitution to the progressives?
She’s a loon
Ignore any article in which the writer is so obviously biased they have to use the word “shilling” in the first four words of the first sentence.
At least he doesn’t excerpt.
I guess.....I find these types of OPs to be difficult to read because they are so infested with links to other material. Couple that with the hard-to-follow formatting and you have an article for me that I usually won’t bother with.
There are more than just this person doing this here and to me the whole style is annoying, frankly. Just string some cogent thoughts together to make a concise, reasoned narrative and stop with all the damn links.
Obviously you care enough to type a reply.
