Donald Trump – The First 100 Days…
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 9/26/15 | Sundance

Posted on 09/26/2015 6:27:04 AM PDT by Amntn

Donald Trump announced his intentions to run for President on June 16th, 2015; one hundred days ago.

Wow, what a hundred days it has been.

In the past 100 days we have found out that virtually every espoused position of the “conservative media” was a total ruse. The Salem Media group primarily among them.

Red State (Eric Erickson) now finds himself proclaiming that Jeb Bush is the most conservative governor he’s ever known. Web sites like Twitchy, Hot Air, Human Events, Michelle Malkin and National Review suddenly singing the praises of a Jeb Bush they formerly said was just another GOP establishment sell out.

Jeb goes from RINO villain to GOP hero faster than you can say Donald Trump.

“Conservative” punditry like George Will, Charles Krauthammer, Stephen Hayes, Charles Lane, Rich Lowry, Jonah Goldberg and many more opining on all media a previously hidden “open borders” position. All of a sudden they are telling us walls will never work, illegal aliens are the bedrock of the U.S. social fabric and it’s profoundly unfair to even contemplate their deportation. Oh, the humanity.

That’s a serious dose of sunlight upon a previously hidden agenda.

Wow, what a ride.

McConnell and BoehnerOn the legislative side John Boehner and Mitch McConnell have worked earnestly to insure Obamacare is never removed, the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal (Fast Track) is structured to insure passage -and destruction of the middle class- with 51 yea votes; and providing Iran with nuclear weapons is similarly fast-tracked using the same legislative threshold.

Who would have thought?

Oh yeah, but don’t expect them to use “reconciliation” (51 votes) for the Federal budget; nope, NO BUDGET – preferring instead to retain the formerly Democrat process of Continuing Resolutions (CR) to fund the government.

The 2016 fiscal year begins in five days and with full control of the House and Senate the Republicans instead choose to skip a budget and use a CR. That’s a gobsmacking reversal of positions they formerly railed against as they requested electoral support.

The GOP claimed the 2014 Mid-Terms hung on the tenuous position: ‘if only they were given control of both chambers of Congress they would stop this deficit usurpation’. So we gave it, and what? Oh yeah, they did the exact opposite.

Senators, and Presidential Candidates, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz both voting to allow the destruction of the Middle Class (Trade Deal) and offering up 40% of the global production to Wall Street and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce hell bent on outsourcing. Voting on other stuff in the Senate, nah…. no biggie.

Wow, who knew?

In the past 100 days the curtain of Fox News has been pulled back to showcase the underlying progressive agenda, and even CNN appears more honest by comparison.

The architects of the Mississippi race-baiting ads (and paying Dems for votes in the primary), scuttled off to join Team Scott Walker and Team Rick Perry in their respective presidential bids – only to go down in flames after their candidates came out in favor of the above GOPe agenda writ large. DUH !

And now we watch eight of the remaining candidates working collectively to deliver Jeb Bush:

Carly Fiorina, Marco Rubio, Mike Huckabee, Chris Christie, Jim Gilmore, George Pataki, John Kasich and Lindsey Graham…

…all supporting Common Core, Comprehensive Immigration Reform including a pathway to citizenship, expansion of Medicare, the Trans-Pacific Trade Deal and retention of various forms of ObamaCare. What a jaw-dropping shift in publicly proclaimed views from before June 16th.

Unreal.

Florida, Ohio, Colorado, North Carolina, Virginia, Washington State, and God-only-knows who else, all desperately scrambling to adjust their primary calendars and GOP state party rules to benefit a similar progressive outcome – the coronation of Jeb Bush.

AND… in each and every instance we are seeing the real ideology, intents and motives, that laid hidden just below the surface.

Well, that is, hidden prior to the entry of candidate Donald Trump who has single-handedly pulled back the covers and laid bare their deception. Topped off yesterday with the U.S. Speaker of the House John Boehner bailing out just before the explosion of an awakened electorate upon them.

Stunning, just STUNNING.

My, oh my. If Donald Trump can accomplish all of this in just 100 days of a candidacy – just imagine what this glorious bastard will reveal in 100 days of a presidency?

Noticed over the last few weeks the lines at the trough are shorter, and some can get a few licks in without having to elbow others out of the way.

I don’t know the details either, but we do know Trump never strikes first. Malkin must have ripped him pretty good, and Trump retaliated. As a Trump supporter I’ve had his Malkin-insult thrown in my face a fair number of times. It’s not a pretty one.

The media is the real democratic party, the dnc is merely their political arm.

Whoever wins on the republican side will need to weather 100 X this, 24/7 for the next four years.

Recall what every republican goes through, 100 per cent of the time, from every media outlet.

This is simply a training exercise for the candidates, Trump in particular.

This is from the second link and I agree with it:

"If Donald Trump can’t do it, NO-ONE can."

"Right now he has my full support. Not because I specifically appreciate the persona that is Donald Trump; rather it’s because, unfortunately I’ll admit, we need a persona like Donald Trump to fix this mess.

Beyond all other things I would customarily and historically disagree with him on (and there are many), I hold no reservations that Trump could actually be the guy to polish the beacon and make it blaze again."

The media is the real democratic party, the dnc is merely their political arm.

And "Wall Street" is their financial arm. Being the conspirator that I am (heh-heh), they are all working together, imo.

It was the best of times, it was the worst of times. Apart from the corruption and political primordial sludge arises a burnished leader with decades in the trenches of New York politics, Hollywood politics, and world economics. I would say to the decepticons:

“If you have been in a poker game for a while, and you still don’t know who the patsy is, you’re the patsy.”

This is true in the sense that the too-smart-by-half gang, the Rovian bunch, CoC, honestly thought the Tea Party were really rubes, and dimwits. The establishment toddlers, they put paperbags over their heads and then thought people couldn’t see them. Guys, your cover is blown, the ruse has failed. People see the RNC/GOPe subversive plan. SEALS would know to call off the “op.” You fools will waste billions, and in the end it will be Trump.

“MY STYLE of deal-making is quite simple and straightforward. I aim very high, and then I just keep pushing and pushing and pushing to get what I’m after.” ― Donald J. Trump, Trump: The Art of the Deal

Good stuff but allow me to make corrections.

Fast Track is NOT the Trans-Pacific-Paartnership (TPP) which is a Trade Deal.

Fast Track is the Trade Promotion Authority (TPA) which is NOT a Trade Deal.

TPA is not only good for America with a patriot American as President but it is necessary and vital, why? Because other nations that approach America or are approached by America in matters of trade are UNWILLING to deal with 535 changlings in Congress who seem to think down to the last member that they are the go-to guy for trade deals for their states and districts. Trade Deals NEVER get done without TPA and TPA dates back more than 75 years. TPA merely makes a rule telling all Congress critters to back off and let the President’s trade delegates be the focal point of trade talks but makes another rule that Congress gets to vote on any deal that emerges. This brings order to the process and allows for trade deals to proceed without fear that some yahoo Congress critter is going to interfere by bringing a shouting contest or a floor motion to suspend the dealmaking. Again, TRADE DEALS ARE NEVER DONE WITHOUT TPA, THEY ARE IMPOSSIBLE TO ACHIEVE WITHOUT TPA.

Where the confusion comes in is with Obama wanting to do bad trade deals (TPA is not a trade deal) which he can only do under TPA (because trade deals are impossible to manage without TPA).

Again, trying to do a trade deal without TPA is like working for Walmart with 535 bosses giving you orders. You ain’t gonna go there!

Now TPA under Obama is a risk but the TPP under Obama is an abomination but TPP hasn’t passed yet! But TPP can’t happen without TPA (in fact no trade deal can happen without TPA just for practicality sake).

So everyone gets hysterical thinking that stopping TPA is crucial to stopping TPP and that’s right but it is shooting oneself in the foot! Why? Because if TPA were not passed (it has already passed but TPP has not passed), then when the next GOP President goes asking for TPA from Congress, at least 41 Democrat Senators will block its passage. So no TPA, no trade deals and that means no creation of millions of trade related jobs for the GOP President. This was Ted Cruz’ logic and he is right!

So TPA is already out there and gives Obama authority to be the center point for TPP negotiations which are still ongoing. But TPP involves like 12 Pacific nations and they are not onboard with what Obama wants. So the gambit is to run the clock out on Obama so that Obama doesn’t get what he wants. But President Trump or President Cruz can get a deal because TPA is out there for them to do the deals, see?

How we can help stop Obama from getting TPP is to defund his trade efforts. We must deny him the funds to use to bribe foreign nations to his version of TPP. This is why it was important to depose Boehner and also to ensure he can’t do anything in his last 35 days because he can still cause a lot of damage. Direct your attention to STOPPING BOEHNER IN HIS LAST 35 DAYS!!!

One unmentioned feat Trump and his merry band of Trumpeters have accomplished is the move from Faux to MSNBC/CNN. Congratulations! You finally saw the light!
