Bernie Sanders told supporters that his campaign has raised over $2.5 million in the twenty-four hours following the first Democratic debate on Tuesday.
The evening after the debate, the socialist senator from Vermont headed to Los Angeles, where he held numerous fundraisers, including a fancy Wednesday event at the home of real estate mogul Syd Lebovitch.

Maybe Lebovitch and his limousine liberal buddies hope if Sanders wins and inaugurates a marxist utopia in the U.S., they will have bought time by donating to Sanders (i.e., they will be the last ones sent to the guillotine).
