I haven't done a quick vanity screed in ages, not as a singluar post, but something set me off today.
Donald Trump claims now that he will close some mosques in the United States if they are ISIL related.
"Varney asked Trump if he agreed with British Prime Minister David Cameron’s recent proposal to close mosques if a worshiper is linked to ISIS. Trump responded unequivocally, “Absolutely, I think it’s great.” Varney, apparently taken aback by Trump’s flippant response to depriving Americans of their constitutional rights, followed up incredulously, “Can you close a mosque?” Adding, “We do have religious freedom.” Trump then gave us this gem: “It depends. Heller put herself in harms way logically. Then she wanted protection at tax payer expense, right?

Sure go after those who went after her, but none of us would suggest it is safe as a citizen to do what she was doing to her or to all the other public at large who became in danger of being killed.
Maybe leave it to the professionals but report all you find out along the way.

and his comments several times recently, knowing he praised Michael Moore about 9/11, telling JEB about 9/11 being on his brother’s watch with complete diffidence of Clinton refusing to bomb Osama twice knowing where he was, and now in the last week he says he would close mosques with ties to al-qaeda; yet last spring, he said Geller was asking for it when they tried to do a mass murder of her and 150 people over a cartoon? That she was inciteful?

I don’t like Trump’s views on what Islam means to the US and our Constitution. He is showing more and more that he knows little about Islamic relations to and intentions for the US at least to what Jefferson recognized. I tend to believe that under a Trump administration the culture of Islam could/would be fitted to the culture of the Founding Fathers. Trump is dead wrong as to any such happening upholding the intent of the Founders and our Constitution. It still leaves me asking myself to whom can/should I turn. Fiorina-no. Carson doubtful. Cruz-perhaps. Any of the democrats-no. One thing I do know is that this is a very interesting and crucial time for the US.

Trump says he will invigorate Christmas as a cultural point, he says keep refugees from the Middle East out of the U.S., he says the world has a Muslim problem, and you dream up nonsense like that. Can you cite evidence as to why you “tend” to believe that?
