Rush sold out to Cruz.

Sold out? Seriously? What could Cruz possibly offer Rush to make him "sell out"?

Rush “sold out” means he went on a rant about how great Cruz is when he repeatedly said he wasn’t supporting anyone. It is obvious he is supporting Cruz now, by his own words.
It has nothing to do with offers of anything. Rush is in Cruz’s corner. He has lost a lot of listeners as a result.

Even if it’s true that Rush is supporting Cruz now, that’s hardly “selling out.”

And what evidence have you heard that he has lost a lot of listeners specifically because of supporting Cruz?

Rush is supporting Cruz because he is the best conservative candidate for the office of President of the United States of America. Period. I love what Trump is doing, but you have to be easily-led to think that he is in “any” way a conservative.

He is not a good speaker and was horrible on the radio when he had his show at WABC. Ann Coulter would be better.

Rush supporting a conservative is not a sell out. When he supported Romney back then, that was a sell out

Check yesterday’s posts by FReepers on the subject, as well as other social media and I’m on a few other sites where I’ve seen posts confirming it as well.

It’s selling out on his word when he repeatedly said he was not supporting anyone. Whether we interpret his remarks the same or my expression equally doesn’t matter in the least. You have your opinion and I have mine, just as inflexible.

So, apparently he’s sold out before.

Good point. Trump doesn’t need a press secretary. He would probably want to do that himself. “You people are despicable, despicable”.

Would be interesting - I miss Tony Snow...

Now for a short public service announcement to all on FR:
We need to ensure we don't get another Obama-like America Hater as the next President.
The best way to ensure that is to actively support a candidate as the next President.
I prefer Cruz and my money goes to his campaign, hence the Cruz link. If you like someone else, donate to him/her (find your own link to do it) and if you use FR and don't donate, then please don't complain about the welfare leeches or those who have Obama Phones because, functionally, you are no different than any other FReeloader

PS - If you are one of those who cannot afford even a small donation to FR or a candidate, God Bless and happy FReeping!.....

GO CRUZ!! Keep it up Trump!!

Donate to FR

Donate to Cruz

Donate to FR

Even if a serious speculation, I don’t think Matt wishes to deal with the real time, live action confrontation any republican administration would receive. Matt is used to cherry picking his topics de jour, and editing to create click baiting sound bites.

If you’re referring to that same hour that I listened to a couple of day ago, Rush did not sell out to Cruz.

He spent almost the entire hour advising Trump how to beat Cruz.

You just listened wrong.

For all the claims of not buying people, this sounds awfully close.

Where did you come up with that?

Trump brags about buying nearly everyone at one time or another, including the Clintons.
