Obama: A Legacy of Fakery

by CHARLES KRAUTHAMMER December 17, 2015.

Last Saturday, Barack Obama gained the second jewel in his foreign-policy triple crown: the Paris climate accord. It follows his Iran nuclear deal and awaits but the closing of Guantánamo to complete his glittering legacy. To be sure, Obama will not be submitting the climate agreement for Senate ratification. It would have no chance of passing — as with the Iranian nuclear deal, also never submitted for the Senate ratification Obama knew he’d never get. And if he does close Guantánamo, it will be in defiance of overwhelming bipartisan congressional opposition.

You see, visionary thinkers like Obama cannot be bound by normal constitutional strictures. Indeed, the very unpopularity of his most cherished diplomatic goals is proof of their prophetic farsightedness.

“A Legacy of Fakery “

Funny- that could also serve as the title for the autobiography of Walter Mondale’s old speechwriter, Charles Krauthammer...

Well then, Mr. Krauthammer. Why don’t you just come right out and say it? You know, how Obama is a “circus clown” and is “unhinged.” That Obama is a “bigoted demagogue.” And while you’re at it, assert that Obama’s supporters are “not like other people.”

C’mon, Charles. After 7 1/2 long years tell us how you really feel about Donald....er.....Barack Hussein Obama.

Obama, by bypassing Congress, has just set precedent for Trump/Cruz. Anyone who opens their mouths to complain in the future should be slammed. I would love to hear Trump rip them for their hypocrisy.

It would also make a good epitaph on the GOP's tombstone.

On November 21, Iran conducted its second test of a nuclear-capable ballistic missile in direct contravention of two U.N. Security Council prohibitions, including one that incorporates the current nuclear agreement — which bans such tests for eight years. Our response? After Iran's first illegal launch in October, the administration did nothing. A few words at the United Nations. Weren't we repeatedly assured that any Iranian violation would be met with vigorous action?

More vigorous lying, dissimulation and maybe a round or two of golf...

Krauthammer doesn’t get it.

For his editorial, the Paris agreement for Obama is a “carbon” (get it) copy of Bush’s 1992 Rio Accord...which no one remembers because it was just as meaningless, pointless, and trivial.

For 0bama, Krauthammer doesn’t understand that 0bama is different from who he thinks. 0bama, for that matter is different from the liberal image of himself, too.

Worse, conservatives don’t understand 0bama, either.

Krauthammer thinks 0bama is as meaningless and directionless as his Paris agreement.

Liberals think that 0bama is a true Leftist peacenik. Mr. pro-diversity, pro-climate change fighter, pro-gay-rights, and anti-gun.

Conservatives believe that 0bama is either incompetent or evil, based upon who you ask, and most conservatives are duped into believing just the same true Leftist peacenik, diversity, pro-climate change fighter, pro-gay-rights, and anti-gun positions for him.

0bama is different from almost all of the above.

To understand 0bama, you have to first know that he went to Pakistan around the same time as Charlie Wilson when he was arming Mujahedeen against the CCCP...a time when foreigners were mostly banned from Pakistan.

0bama was allowed entry to Pakistan, and you aren’t allowed to see his passport and visa stamps.

To understand 0bama, you next have to know that he lists his first post-college job at Business International Corporation (BIC) on his public bio.

You’d have to know that BIC is on record (even in Wikipedia!) as being a CIA front company.

You’d then have to know that the reason 0bama’s birth certificate, Selective Service (draft) registration, multiple Social Security #’s, and college transcripts are off-record (classified), is because he was “Sheep Dipped” (part of a CIA process of giving certain agents an identity).

And finally, to know where 0bama is going and why he has backed the CIA’s “Arab Spring” disaster in the Middle-East and the CIA’s “Maiden Revolution” in the Ukraine ($4 Billion on record of *public* USA tax Dollars supporting that), you’d have to know that there is a war going on inside the CIA between what could be called patriotic nationalists vs trans-patriotic internationalists.

...Because if you knew all of the above, then you’d understand why the CIA knew that General Petraeus was having an affair, but didn’t know about the upcoming Tet Offensive in Vietnam, the fall of the Berlin Wall, the collapse of the CCCP, 9/11 in NYC+DC, 3/11 in Spain, 7/7 in London, the recent Paris attacks, and recent terror events in the USA (Boston, Chattanooga, San Bernardino, etc.).

...copy of Bush’s 1992 Rio Accord...

Errrrrr, wouldn't that be Gore's Rio Accord?

Gore wasn’t VP until January of 1993.

Rio Accord was signed in 1992.

Anyway, it’s unlikely to be mere happenstance that Bush was the Director of the CIA prior to becoming President.

Imagine if you said the above sentence in a fictional novel...no one would deem your fiction “credible!”

Yet it is public record that Bush was Director of the CIA before becoming VP for Reagan, and later President.

...and it Was *that* elder Bush who signed the 1992 Rio Accord.

There’s a theme here. Dots that are easily connected. Just draw the line.

After first serving as Nixon’s envoy to China...Nixon then brought Bush home to be his new CIA Director: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_H._W._Bush#Director_of_Central_Intelligence_.281976.E2.80.9377.29

My mistake. Though an understandable one, all things considered.

I posted before reading the rest of your #11. Only later did I realize that my post shot straight thru to the fringe of the subject.

Apologies...

If nothing is signed and there are no penalties, any EPA regulations are meaningless. Coal fired plants and coal mines are free to continue operating. Imposing fines and sanctions are meaningless and can be tied up in courts for years while still operating.

RESIST OR BE ENSLAVED.
