Hickock45 explains what he thinks might have caused the problem(s) with his popular youtube channel being terminated. Repeatedly.
Plus, why it was reinstated -besides a lot of people causing a fuss about its disappearance.

I don’t make any firearms decisions without first going to YouTube and seeing what Hickok45 has to say about it. And I doubt if I’m the only one.
Borefest....dude needs to edit down his stuff...long periods of ‘dead air’ and watching him bust targets. He does however cover a lot of guns and eventually delivers useful info. The video of what happened to YouTube omg!! get the effing point!!!

I completely agree. He needs to script (storyboard) his videos before making them then edit the film to 10-15 minutes. Same with “nutnfancy.” I don’t have time to painstakingly watch hours and hours of video to get to the point. They need to make a short entertaining demo and a list of the salient points in the description of the video.

So summary that can’t watch video: his videos were cross-posting on Google+, which has very strict/unfriendly terms of service for firearm-related things. The videos were being flagged there, and his account kept getting suspended. He has nownremoved the videos from Google+.

This was a good reminder to delete my Google+ account. Never wanted one anyway.
I love that guy’s channel, I’m a sub, and he’s great.
His channel problems got me really mad, and I even called Google about it (my friend works there and gave me a phone number).
I was and am still convince the reasons were political, though it seems they have convinced Hickok45 about some technical mumbo-jumbo.

Google maps says that he's currently standing 3.9 miles SSE of you. And according to Street View, he's facing West, wearing green parka and sitting in a white SUV. I can't make out the license plate numbers, but it's a South Dakota plate.
