Our nation is in deep trouble. Our world is burning down and an anti-American in the White House is fanning the flames. We the people who love America must do something to save ourselves now! We have been let down by the fake conservatives we sent to Washington to put out the fire and start fixing the damage. They have laughed in our faces. We have reluctantly put our faith in the Supreme Court to halt the advance of unconstitutional legislation; but the justices have stabbed us in the back and twisted the blade with smug talk about the fix being “up to the people.â€
Until last summer we had no one to champion our cause. It was only us. That has changed with the emergence of Donald Trump as the frontrunner in the Republican primaries. We now have a once in a lifetime opportunity to fix what is wrong and save our country; and we simply cannot squander it.
Yet there are those whose demands for conservative purity have caused them to first scoff at Trump, then throw their “Flavor of the Month†candidate at him to take him out. Since that didn’t work they are lecturing us and pushing Ted Cruz, a man who is a proven liar. Worse still, more than a third of voters believe Cruz is not eligible to be the president. Ted Cruz is not an alternative, but just another way to pat us on the head and tell us to “run along.â€

Pundits live and die with their narrative. Lose your narrative and you’ve lost everything. Once you call Trump a racist, sexist etc., you have to carry that banner all the way to perdition. Reagan likewise produced thousands of such sorry souls.

I’ll take Trump or Cruz, but I prefer Cruz. Without Trump though, the presstitutes would already have shoved another RINO down our throats.
Trump is a lot of things, conservative is not one of them.

For the last eight years the talk on this forum as been, “We lose because we don’t put a conservative on the ballot.”
Now the talk is to put a man who has been to the left of Christie for all but the last two years of his life, who only has angry going for him.
The Hilda-beast is more to the right than Trump.
Please. I'd be more impressed if Trump had ever showed a conservative tendency.
Vote Trump by all means, God knows we need more corporate welfare, taxation, abortion, gun control and open borders.
You need to stop clinging to that word “conservatism” and reach for a better term “self preservation” which is where we are at right now. Trump is best chance at self preservation we have at the moment.
I have nothing to do with the GOP-E, but I’m bothered by Trump’s pushing Hillary as a fine president in 2008, praise for Obama’s foreign policy in 2009, and support for DeBlasio in 2013.

Therein lies Trumps appeal.

Trump has pushed touch-back amnesty. Cruz opposes it.
