They all lie but we support Trump because he’ll build the Wall and bomb the HELL out of ISIS

We have been lied to and misled by so called “conservatives” for at least twenty years. The broken promises from “conservative” Republicans have arrived as fast as the pieces of candy on Lucy’s conveyor belt. We even began to lie to ourselves, believing “Well they’re doing the best they can with what power they have.”

Laboring under that belief we overlooked George W. Bush’s ineptitude; and made excuses for his not knowing how to fight a war against Muslims and the hostile Democrat controlled media.

We steamed while the “conservatives” did nothing to combat the ridiculous charge that the economic mess we are in was “Bush’s fault” and by extension our fault. We watched everything we hold dear destroyed or cheapened while cowardly “conservatives” did nothing but moan about needing the House and the Senate. We worked hard and gave them both and they laughed at us, made fun of us and ignored us.

Now we are told that we can’t support Donald Trump, a man who is not a politician. They don’t realize this is why we support him. We don’t give an EXPLETIVE DELETED about the “fringe” of Trump because at the core is...

Personally the Middle East can be the sand pit for which Islam and all it’s practitioners can live in the world. I am so done with it. We should support Israel and just stay out.

Why Trump won South Carolina:

No one more conservative than Trump on building the Wall.

No one more conservative than Trump on deporting ALL ILLEGALS.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping hemorrhaging Trillion dollars EVERY year from American economy in foreign trade deficits.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping Trillions spent in middle-east wars with borrowed money from China, Japan & EU.

No one more conservative than Trump on taking better care of Vets.

No one more conservative than Trump on stopping influx of UN-Vetted Muslims entering the country.

Cruz and Rubio are certainly more conservative than Trump on social issues. But the voters are obviously not looking for a pastor to be commander in chief.

So who is going to build a wall? Nobody? If so, you might as well give up.

I agree with you. Trump is running for specific reasons: no one is doing what should be done, and he thinks he can do it. Otherwise he sees the country going to hell.

Rubio and Cruz want to “be” President. It’s normal. Humble upbringings, smarts, rising to the top. I don’t blame them. I’m sure they have visions for the country as well.

Bush was a sad case, though. He was running because the powers that be already owned his whole family, so it was an offer he couldn’t refuse, and psychologically he was insecure over not being as likable or charismatic (Jeb only a 1 on a scale of 1-10 where W was more of a 4) as his famous bro and dad. When he cried on the podium last night the tears were clearly for himself, which is humiliating and telling. I am sure he had no deep desire for the betterment of America. More, he needed the cocaine high of winning. So glad the voters all picked up on his vibe.

What I like is when he just — top cat style*— kind of rolls his eyes and has that “Can you believe this guy?” expression on his face. That is very compelling to voters.

*”top Cat” is the cat, in a household of cats, who just IS the lead cat. He doesn’t have to do anything to prove it. He just IS. Other cats who wish they were the top will be trying all kinds of aggressive maneuvers, hissing, putting on a big fuss, but the Top Cat will just yawn and roll over. Which infuriates the lesser cats no end. A good example of this is SpongeBob (top cat, just blithely rules) versus Squidward (who is more educated and cultured and assumes HE should be more important, dammit!).

I am gonna (bet) on (taking my chances) with Trump.

Thanks for making my point.

As our enemies are trying to "burn the farm" to the ground, being so pissed off that you would be willing to "bet the farm" on "let's make a deal" Trump sounds like a repeat of the Obama phenomenon.

No. I have experience with those I mentioned. Trump is an outsider with results from his professional life. I will bet on him based on his message, position on issues and self funding. He states he will be accountable to no other than the American people. All the many people that attends his rallies.

He has made a deal with the American people.

I will support him.

Well.....in years past, I have been "sucked in" by campaign promises, only to have those promises trashed when the candidate gets into power.

In my disgust of this, I am no longer interested in "awesome messages" over something substantial I can "see" to judge a candidate on. Saying that, being "rich" or "working with liberals" to build a business, isn't on my list of things to look for in a good President while the "closet" (and self-avowed) Socialists are breathing down our necks.

BTW, I thank you for the conversation. As you might have surmised, Trump isn't my first pick, but discussions with other candidate's supporters gives me something to think about if I have to look elsewhere.

I pray, for our country's sake, that you are correct in your assumptions about Trump, should he win the White House.

Ted Cruz said he supported immigration reform, not amnesty. When it came to a bill that actually included amnesty, his he voted against that bill.

Donald Trump, on the other hand is on record as supporting amnesty. But as it is with his promises to build a wall and deport all the illegals, those are just words. His actions supporting his words can be found in his support in his publicly stated and financial support for Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton, Harry Reid, Mitch McConnell, and John Boehnor… all of whom supported granting amnesty.

Open your eyes.
