It defies logic that 20 years ago Republicans were against a lying, adulterous draft dodger and now ....”

We know Cruz and Rubio are liars and neither one signed up for the military to fight in the middle east when they were of that age...Oh, by the way, Trump had a medical deferment...

"Fact: David Duke was..."

I haven't followed David Duke's career as you obviously have, so let me ask you: Has he renounced the beliefs that he presumable held dear when he was the leader of the KKK? Nothing in your response says anything about his current beliefs.

And, the fact that even a former KKK Grand Wizard could do better than "most of the candidates" in a Republican primary is a point of shame, not a bragging point.

Bone spurs in his heels, a rather painful affliction I suffer from as well.

Actually he did renounce the beliefs that he held as a Klansman, his current beliefs are more “european” centric and nonviolent.

Like I said Using David Duke to bash Trump is a Democrat/liberal tactic or gamble, but if you want to stoop to their level, I’ll be all too happy to point out that Duke not only was a democrat while he was in the Klan but that he also ran for president as a Democrat candidate while he was in the Klan.

It was only after quitting the Klan and adopting a nonviolent stance that he was able to secure political office as a republican...

So There....PWTTTTTTTT!(<bronx cheer)

Sorry to hear about your affliction.

Trump's bone spurs magically disappeared as soon as he was beyond draft age, so there's hope for you.

Logic as liberals see it...

Donald Trump is running for president as a Republican>

David Duke was a Klansman once upon a time (1967-1979)>

David Duke is a republican=

David Duke supports Donald Trump for President>

All Republicans are racists because>

David Duke was in the Klu Klux Klan (1967-1979)>

Donald Trump is racist because of David Duke>

Anyone that supports Donald Trump is a racist because

David Duke was in the Klu Klux Klan(1967-1979)

Nevermind that David Duke was thrown out of the Klu Klux Klan because he used Klan Money to fix up his house>

Nevermind that David Duke was a democrat while he was a member of the Klu Klux Klan Like a number of historical Democrat leaders including Hugo Black, Richard Byrd, and Harry S. Truman>

Nevermind that David Duke created what was almost exact the same organization as the NAACP for White people using The NAACP’s own organizational guidelines as a blueprint>

David Duke once being in the Klu Klux Klan is all anyone should ever focus on because that and that alone is the only thing that can now stop Trump...

Or so the Media now tells us to believe...

They come and go for reasons unknown, I suspect unlike me Donald Trump has the money to have them removed at his leisure.

Are you going to condemn the man for being able to afford such a procedure?

Trump didn’t serve because of bone spurs, medically proven. I don’t know so I can’t comment on that. I applaud anyone who went over to that hell hole to fight. They were dumped over there and abandoned by their government, only to come home and be spit on by their fellow Americans and then, forgotten. No job training. No help with PTSD. Yet these guys have an undying love for their Country. In my eyes, each and every Vietnam Veteran is a true American Heroes!! Thank you to all!!

Or he used his father's wealth to bribe a doctor to write him a note excusing him from having to go?

Let Trump provide his medical records showing any treatment he got after he was too old to be drafted. If he won't, the the reasonable assumption is that he as a draft dodger with a bogus doctor's note paid for by his rich father.

I believe Ms. Sojourner was trying too contest the election but republican state senate moves to a establishment beat. In spite of voting irregularities, the democrat was declared the “winner”

1. Duke was never a ‘grand wizard’ (whatever the heck that is)
2. Duke never endorsed Trump
3. Trump disavowed two seconds after he was told the lie and moved on. It happened at the Christie endorsement announcement Q and A. (Watch it if you don’t believe me)

You’re spreading deliberate lies.

Is this how ‘true, principled conservatives’ behave?

Oh I see you are using desperate using old school Leftist smear attack on Trump.

They did the same to Ronald Reagan who replied they me support me, but that does not mean I support them.

If you are going to place the race card then please go back to D.U. where you belong.

I've been here (FR) since the late '90s. I see that you're a newbie.

I've voted for every Republican candidate for President since I was old enough to vote (Reagan, 1980), even though I've had to hold my nose for several (Dole, McCain, Romney). But the stench coming from Trump is too much for me to take.

It isn't Duke's endorsement; it's the fact that Trump wasn't willing to reject that endorsement when asked about it. He certainly did know who David Duke was, but he acted as though he didn't.

But none of it matters to the Trump cultists. As long as he promises to build a Yuuuugggeeee Wall, they will accept every lie, tantrum and disgusting comment without any criticism or thought.

-—Where were you hanging out before?

I work, I don’t “hang out” in chat rooms.

-—Which party do you regularly vote for?

I haven’t voted since Perot. My voting history is RR twice, “Read My Lips” Bush x1, and Perot. I haven’t voted since.

I am a registered D out of necessity (long story, but it is in my posting history if you go back a few weeks).

I am neither a right winger or left winger.

I found this site while following a Trump link, and signed up after a week or so of reading the articles here.

Sling away. This web site is no different than others I have recently joined, there is a group think. You see a fresh fish in the prison yard and you think that by shanking that fish it will give you status with the other inmates.

I understand that.

It still doesn’t change the fact that I won’t vote for a foreigner to be POTUS, and I don’t think a foreigner should ever be POTUS.

I understand what our founders meant. He is no more a “natural born” than my wife is a “natural blonde”.

Too bad too, because he seems like a nice guy.

1. Duke was never a ‘grand wizard’ (whatever the heck that is)

Actually - yes he was.

http://www.thedailybeast.com/articles/2016/02/28/david-duke-i-think-trump-knows-who-i-am.html

2. Duke never endorsed Trump

Actually - yes he did.

http://www.nydailynews.com/news/national/trump-endorsed-kkk-neo-nazis-america-white-article-1.2543847

3. Trump disavowed two seconds after he was told the lie and moved on.

Actually - no he didn’t. He comically blamed a “faulty earpiece” for his non-response during the Tapper interview.

http://www.inquisitr.com/2840703/donald-drumpf-trump-blames-faulty-earpiece-for-david-duke-controversy/

So, actually — YOU’RE the lie spreader, Marie. Ergo, I flip your question back onto you... Is this how ‘true, principled conservatives’ behave?

Anything else?
