I think you are right on the money. I’m seeing usernames on FR who never show up on any threads during the intervening years. Oh I know—they’re supposed to be “lurkers”, right? Then when there’s an election pending all of a sudden they come flying out of the woodwork like a bunch of dirty rats attacking the front runner. So now we are expected to believe that FR is comprised of five percent activists who actually contribute to threads, and 95 percent hidden lurkers who only come out to bash everyone else during an election year.
