If the plan is to bring Biden in, most likely they'll wait until Hillary has enough delegates to secure the nomination. At that point, they can drop the hammer on her and force her out of the race. Her delegates will then be free to vote for whoever they want, thereby denying Bernie the nomination in favor of Biden.

Maybe but that might look like they're denying a woman. They might try to pull the same thing but with Elizabeth Warren. The problem with Warren is that she really doesn't have that much name recognition so it would be tough for her to catch up.
