Lindsey Graham Endorses Ted Cruz, Begins Fundraising Effort-The UniParty Unifies
The Conservative Treehouse ^ | 3-17-2016 | sundance

Posted on 03/17/2016 12:49:11 PM PDT by smoothsailing

In addition to the intense disinformation campaign from corporate media, the disinfecting sunlight from visible alliances is now exposing the entire DC-based UniParty political apparatus.

As apoplectic Paul Ryan supporting ‘conservatives’ gathered today to discuss how to protect the right side penthouse suites of the UniParty, the left-side residents have agreed to support the unified endeavors.

unipartyHouse Budget Chairman Paul Ryan

Erick Erickson, famous for his “Jeb Bush is the most conservative governor in history” comment, leads the charge to support Cruz from the right-wing punditry of the UniParty apologists. The insufferable idiocy of the Erickson wing is best highlighted by reviewing the words in their collective statement as presented after their meeting:

[…] we intend to keep our options open as to other avenues to oppose Donald Trump. Our multiple decades of work in the conservative movement for free markets, limited government, national defense, religious liberty, life, and marriage are about ideas, not necessarily parties. (link)

Well, there you have it. Decades of work for free markets, limited government, etc. In the proverbial words of Dr. Phil: “How’s that been working out for ya“? Because it’s been hell on everyone else.

Those “conservative free market principles” (through the past 30 years of UniParty construction) have created horrific trade deals and destroyed U.S. manufacturing and U.S. Jobs – the best evidence of historically stupid policy is always a simple look at the current results.

Those “conservative limited government principles“, (through the past 26 years of UniParty construction), Bush, Clinton, Bush and Obama, have given us everything from toilets that don’t flush -to- TSA pat-downs, NSA overreach, 5 trillion dollar wars in the mid-east, 300% bigger government and massive debt/deficits now totaling over $20,000,000,000,000.00 (trillion).

humor-in-nature8Um, Erick et al, you can keep your so called, f***ing “conservative principles”, in the same insufferable locale as the rest of your unified assembly. Go sell CPAC crazy someplace else, because the silent majority are done listening to the sham-wow pitch.

lindsey graham endorses Ted Cruz

Meanwhile, senator Lindsey Graham has now joined Senate Minority Leader Harry Reid and begun openly doing everything possible to assist the Ted Cruz campaign.

Today, Senator Lindsey Graham announced his full-throated support for Senator Ted Cruz, to include giving Cruz access to Graham’s extensive donor and lobbying lists for financial support.

[…] Sen. Lindsey Graham will host a fundraiser on Monday in support of Sen. Ted Cruz.

A draft of the invitation, obtained first by CNN, invites guests to “honor and support a great friend of Israel and the Jewish people,” at a meet-and-greet event that will take place during the AIPAC policy conference in Washington next week. (read more)

Well there you have it.

The UniParty is out in full force and openly visible for all to see – The Republicans and Democrats, the Decepticons, the Neo-Cons, the Progressive Left-Wing and Progressive Right-Wing all united in self-serving common cause.

I don’t really have to attack Cruz much more. He’s proving me daily. Doing it to himself. He is a fraud.

Nope. I’m not the one who’s been singing that old song, over and over. It is entertaining to see the CRuz pretzel logic, though.

The establishment hits just keep on coming, for CRuz

Cruz is not running for the office of national prophet.

Both Cruz and Trump identify as “Christian”. Same as most presidential candidates, including Obama. I have seen Obama on video agreeing that “Jesus is Lord”. Is he Christian enough for you? Or is there some reason you want to single out Cruz’s Christian faith over Obama, Trump, Romney, et al?

If every politician running for office needs to agree with your theological interpretations, you will need to go start a theocratic society.

This nation was founded by people who were mostly “Christian” in their beliefs but were from diverse groups of Christians who disagreed over many issues. They recognized the benefit of working together for national interests and religious freedom, which they all agreed with.

But if you start a theocracy of your own, you can always implement a religious test for office holders. Just not here.

Back in late November or early December, Bill Bennett wrote an article that explains Trump and indirectly exactly why everyone will line up behind Cruz, Kasich, or any other insider who they think they can foist on the electorate instead of Trump. I couldn't find it here on FR.

The title is, "An Interesting Take on Donald Trump" and the link embedded in that title seems to have the fewest ads and trash of those I looked at. There may be better links to it around so it's easy to just use the title and choose your own poison as far as where you find it now.

Like Trump or not, agree with Bennett on everything or not, Bennett clearly lays out just what the system is in this country, and why there's panic in both parties over Trump doing so well.

Time for Ted to fade into obscurity like the phony he is. It’s time to focus on Clinton with laser-like precision and HIGH ENERGY.

GO TRUMP!

This is what they decided when they realized they couldn’t do anything else.

Kasich is going to get Cruz votes, and then Trump is going to win.

I think I’m about done with Ted Cruz. If he had any outsider balls at all. He would have mocked Lindsey Graham as a two faced loser, and that he does not need help from any uniparty fags.

But only Cruz has assembled a foreign relations staff that reads like a “Who’s Who” of ME meddlers, globalists, DC establishment think tankers in preparation for more war.

Well that’s egg on my face.
Still think it’s just pandering to conservatives (while hurting Trump) but my proof is sorely lacking!

Great picture above LOL!

It’s funny how Trump kept criticizing Cruz for not having any senators endorsing him. As a Cruz supporter, that was the biggest reason for me TO support him. The last thing I want him to be is in bed with the RINO’s just so that these traitors could endorse him!
Now that the establishment is uniting behind Kasich and Cruz, there are criticisms about who is endorsing Cruz. That’s hypocritical big time.
I have not changed. Now that scumbags like Lindsey prefer Cruz to Trump, it makes me prefer Trump to Cruz. I will not forget though Trump’s and his followers’ hypocrisy. It just shows that Both Trump (Cruz is not liked by anybody in Washington; Carson is not that good a physician, Fiorina - look at that face!) and Cruz (giving a small part of the blame re: violence in Chicago to Trump) will say anything to get elected.
Still better than any Democrat!

The Gop Establishment is getting behind one of their own Ted Cruz. I've seen Megyn McCain(John McCain's daughter), Fiorina , Lindsay Graham and others endorse Cruz.

Cruz has assembled a policy team that is also GopE. Romney will support Cruz but went after Trump. They all want to stop Trump but are all for Cruz

“Nope. I’m not the one who’s been singing that old song, over and over.”

I’ve seen your name popping up for months. And every time I see it, you seem to be obsessed with attacking Cruz.

Even Planned Parenthood hates the guy less than you. And that says a lot.
