Amanda Carpenter, former communications director for Sen. Ted Cruz (CR97%) and one of his alleged mistresses claims, “I had a purely professional relationship with Senator Cruz.”
In an in interview with with CNN’s Jake Tapper on “The Lead” on Tuesday, Carpenter said, “I’m stuck in this box where I am forced to try to defend every smear that comes after me, my husband, my children, online or suffer in silence.”
Tapper asked Carpenter, “Have you had ever any sort of intimate relationship with Senator Cruz, Anything at all? Anything that could be considered inappropriate?”
Carpenter, who is now a CNN political commentator replied, “No, I had a purely professional relationship with Senator Cruz. And I want too go further than that. I have been 100 percent faithful to my husband. There’s nothing more important to me than being a good wife and a good mother and it’s been very hard the past few days to have my character called into question and watch this blow back on them. So thank you for having me here to talk about it. And I hope no one else has to go through this.”

My take on this. When Bill Clinton did have his numerous affairs, we were led to believe by Hillary that these women were all sluts that threw themselves on Bills feet and beg for sex. Now we know that Bill preyed on these women and in some cases forced himself on them. With Bill there were hundreds of witnesses including the state police guards he had as governor. There are no witnesses with Ted, because I don’t believe it happened
As for Cruz, I don’t buy any of this infidelity crap.

Ms Carpenter has posted some questionable tweets and has attempted to hide them. Perhaps they were just silly, playful thoughts. I do not know. But, saying you like married men and some of the other things she posted, well, they do not look good.
By the way, to whomever stated it was a man’s jacket, if I recall correctly, it was a woman’s. Just saying.
I support Trump, but that doesn’t mean I want these allegations of infidelity to be true. I believe Trump would be a better president. I do not believe he had anything to do with the story. It was started in Rubio’s camp.
