Mark Levin Slams 'Pom Pom Boys and Girls' at Fox for Trump Hype After New York Win

The Right Scoop reported (with audio) that Mark Levin opened his show on Wednesday night hitting back at all the election propaganda being spouted by the media and pundits after the New York primary results.

He told his national audience that if you’re a registered member of the Conservative Party in New York, you’re not allowed to vote in Republican primaries, about 150,000 members. It wouldn’t have changed the Trump victory, he admitted, but it certainly would have affected how Ted Cruz looked, and whether he took second place away from John Kasich. “It’s quite remarkable that Cruz got even 15 percent,” said Levin. He said he wasn’t opposed to a closed primary at all, but just insisted that information should matter to the pundits.

Trump got about 525,000 votes in New York and got 91 delegates, while Cruz drew about 531,000 votes in Wisconsin and won 36 delegates, he said. “I’m just pointing it out.”

Then he went after Fox:

The Fox News Channel – the Donald Trump super PAC – hasn’t discussed any of this, all day long. Instead, the pom pom boys and girls are dancing all over the place. Telling you that everything’s changed, even though nothing’s changed. They repeat what Donald Trump says. They repeat what his sycophants say, his surrogates say.

Mark Levin is a delusional idiot. Cruz got about 14% of the vote. Furthermore Fox has been out to get Trump from the beginning.

I listened to him yesterday to document his response.

Levin has no influence with me.

Conclusion: He was condescending and dishonest in his analysis.

Say what you want about Trump but he’s exposed a lot of folks in the conservative media. 15 minutes. Up.

I don’t see a pro-Trump attitude at FOX at all.

On the contrary - they constantly seemed to work hard to boost whoever is the anti-Trump candidate of the week.

Mark gripes about open primaries Trump wins then he whines about closed primaries Trump wins.

Not very consistent (other than the constant whining).

Levin heard it right. It was a pep rally after the election. So Hannity brags about being a registered Conservative ALL the time. He has no basis to lambast Republican party for the way they conduct elections. Now we see the hypocrisy where he doesn’t mention the disparity of delegates in NY. I don’t necessarily think all the state’s rules are right but it is the party’s business. If you want to get involved to change things then do so. But a blow hard on the radio who proudly says they are not Republican should shut up. He has become UN-listenable. I turned the channel to Kilmeade from Hannity yesterday. It didn’t take long for him to start beating the same drum. Turned them both off.

I don't know why Levis is so surprised. We know now that Trump wants to allow the pom Pom boys into the girls room:

Although I have admired both men for years I have come to the conclusion that Mark Levin and, to a lesser extent, Dennis Prager are doing serious and perhaps irreversible damage to our Republic.

As I consider neither man a fool, they must know that Ted Cruz, the candidate they support passionately and consistenly, will fail as the Republican nominee for president this election cycle. While I admire and, in many respects, agree with their points and concerns regarding the presumptive nominee (Donald Trump) by their persistent and vicious attacks on Trump they are making it extremely difficult for a Cruz supporter to vote for Trump when, as is likely, Trump becomes the Republican nominee.

Although Prager has said repeatedly that if this is so he will not hesitate to vote for Trump rather than, directly or tacitly, provide support to whichever socialist candidate the Democrats run. But while Prager may have the intellectual honesty and strength to do so, hundreds -- perhaps thousands -- of his loyal listeners, after hearing Prager disparrage Trump unmercifully over the past several months, will not do so. They will instead withhold their vote and not vote for the Republican candidate (Trump), effectively rewarding the socialist Democrat.

Levin (and for that matter, Ben Shapiro) have taken this a step further. Both men have said they will never and under no circumstance vote for Donald Trump. This disgraceful position not only undermines their credibility as conservatives -- yes, Mark, I said conservatives -- it shows clearly they have replaced reason with emotion (i.e., their hatred of Donald Trump), preferring instead that a socialist democrat become president. (As an aside, their hatred is not just limited to Donald Trump. It is clear from their words and actions that Levin and Shapiro despise their fellow citizens -- including many conservatives -- who dare disagree or take offense at their "intellectual superiority". In a sense, this is not much different than the Democrat or Republican Party elites who are convinced they know what is best for American citizens ... that they are our "betters" and how dare we take exception to their "superior wisdom".

Until recently, I would never have believed these two men -- Levin and Shapiro -- would hate someone so much that they would be prepared to sacrifice our republic -- to subject liberty-loving Americans to another four to eight years of socialist elitism.

I condemn your actions, Mark Levin and Ben Shapiro, and I am profoundly disappointed in the actions of a normally wise and respectful man, Dennis Prager.

Regardless of your ideals and inability to constrain your emotions, how dare you three influential Americans turn your back on so very many of your fellow conservatives ... on your fellow Americans ... and on the preservation of our American Republic and our Constitution.

Got in the car the other day after NY and I heard Rush come out with his snarky comment about the rules are rigged and how Trump got a % , but got more delegates. It was right at the start of his show.
I turned him off.

What these idiots do not understand that bribing delegates is one thing, however it is the voters which vote in a general and the voters have stated they do not want cruz . Now these voters see cruz as a snake and many will not vote for him , plus the people who came out to vote for a republican the first time will just stay at home.

Rush did go on to say, no matter what, Anybody But Clinton.

No he wasn't happy about it, but he said it.

I’m a very involved member of the NYS Conservative Party, and I have seen no evidence that Cruz has any more support inside the Conservative party than he does the NYS GOP. Which is to say, virtually none.

Saying that Fox News is waving pom poms for Trump is rich. They have been sticking the knife to Trump for months on end. Levin is delusional. He and Rush and both temporarily lost it. Once Trump is the nominee I hope they both get back on track trashing the real villain Hillary Clinton in the general election.
