MAKE AMERICA BEG AGAIN!

Trump’s Delegates Are Now Begging for Money Online If Trump’s delegates can’t make it to the Republican convention in Cleveland this July, he could become just a weird footnote in primary history. So why isn’t he paying to get them there?

Donald Trump may be really, really rich, but it’s not apparent that he’s using his great fortune to get his delegates to the Republican convention in July. Trump is lucky his supporters are loyal. Like, beg for money on the Internet loyal.

At least seven Trump delegates have resorted to crowdfunding to send themselves to the convention, setting up pages on GoFundMe, a popular fundraising platform, asking for sums ranging from $1,000 to to $10,000.

While their tenacity is a testament to the enthusiasm surrounding Trump’s campaign, it also calls into question whether his operation is organized enough to secure his nomination on the convention floor in Cleveland if he fails to earn the 1,237 delegates necessary to win outright before July. Because if his delegates don’t show, they don’t get to vote.

Trump not bribing is a negative in the morally confused Cruz world.

Heh heh. This is actually very good for Trump. And not because he’s being cheap.

...t also calls into question whether his operation is organized enough...

Because what we need is a president that is good at paperwork.

We don’t need a leader that can lay out a vision, we need a lawyer; a bureaucrat; an insider that plays the game.

I would not want to spend $5,000 of my own money for a trip to Cleveland.

If Trump or any candidate pays a dime to any delegate it is criminal bribe and at minimum will get the delegate disqualified.

That’s the trouble with dragging warm bodies off the street opposed to delegates that are familiar with and have worked in the system.

Next we’ll hear Trump and bots crying about “bribery charges” are unfair.

"But the utilization of online crowdfunding—used for all sorts of things, ranging from medical bills to a Nicolas Cage-themed dating website—is a thoroughly modern twist, as well as a risky one. And Trump supporters aren’t alone; delegates for Ted Cruz and Bernie Sanders have asked the Internet for help funding their travel, too."

Oh noes! Cruz and Sanders people have to beg too! How awful!

"The would-be Trump delegates reached by The Daily Beast have not had any contact with the campaign about convention logistics. Rather, they’re setting out on their own to make America great again."

So, this story is based on people who are doing this on their own with no communication to the Trump campaign.

BOGUS STORY

Which is another reason the claim that “anyone” can do it is simply not true.

What’s wrong with Trump supporters crowd funding their delegates travel expenses?

Think hard dummy.

Wish I was ‘puter savy enough to post a train wreck photo.

Yeah, yeah I hear its easy, but not for a guy who made their first phone call on a wood box crank phone.

The Trump Team may be slow to react to the money problem. I’m sure they will work it out once they figure out if these needy delegates are legitimate.

Talk about making mole hills into mountains . . .

It sure is. By the way how are the Cruz delegates getting to the convention? Are they paying their own way? Are the party big wigs paying for them?

It helps to read the whole article.

I would not want to spend $5,000 of my own money for a trip to Cleveland.

Then don't run to be a delegate. What do you think being a delegate is nothing more then an opportunity to extort money and entertainment? You sound like the gopE.

Tell the delegates to hitch-hike and bring a sleeping bag to sleep in. Poor little $nowflake$ ALERT!
