The hostile Take over is Over!

Both the DNC and the RNC are corporations, which control 4 trillion in spending and regulations, or shall we say everything.I believe Donald Trump decided to become president around 13 years of age and has led his life accordingly. What he has pulled off is a classic hostile take over of a corporation, they really never had a chance.

Megan Kelly alluded to the “enormity” of Trump’s win.
Does she not know what enormity means or is she being dragged kicking and screaming?

I noticed Me-again had a real upswing in her voice when she said “Trump” now. Why not? Her row with Donald actually helped her career, and now she’s going to get great ratings with he upcoming interview with Trump. As I noted at the time, she wasn’t the one who complained about Trump’s tweets, it was other people being offended on her behalf. It’s all worked out great for her. She’ll probably get along fine with Trump when they do the interview. Trump is always gracious in victory. In fact he’s complimenting Cruz and the rest of his opponents right how.

That’s what’s so funny. In trying to kiss up to Trump, she smilingly describes his win as an enormity. When in reality, enormity is not a compliment.

There are two different definitions, one being something yuge, and the other being a terrible sin. From the context she was talking about the size of his accomplishment.

When she went to talk to Trump at HIS house, I said she and Fox knew he was going to be president and it was time to get on his good side. Today she said he could fix his problem with women. The fraud is funny.

Where did you read that he decided to be president at 13 years old? First I’ve heard. Link, or some idea where you read it?

We still have a lot to do. Getting Trump into office is great, but we have to replace the establishment that's still within the party. A lot of them will come out in support of Trump to try and save themselves, but we have to be careful. We still need some of them, and should use them to our advantage when we can, but we need a plan to do everything we can remove them from positions of power and influence in the party. We can't just leave them in power without a fight at some point even if they get behind us temporarily or they will destroy anything positive that we achieve. They will be looking to do the same thing to us, and we have to make sure we are prepared for them. The people are behind this cause, and we can't blow our chance.

Hopefully Trump chooses an outsider with strong views on the same issues. He shouldn't pick an insider in an effort to pacify the establishment. That potentially puts Trump's life in more danger than it already is, and it could lead to an establishment president coming in and destroying everything he's accomplished. If that happens then the entire thing is a waste of time. This can't be a temporarily trend, and the establishment needs to be destroyed beyond repair. We can use them when we can, but we can't forget they are going to be doing the exact same thing, and any alliance will be temporary with people working behind the scenes to destroy us. We have to do the same, and we have to win.

“I believe Donald Trump decided to become president around 13 years of age and has led his life accordingly” your question does not mesh with my statement, does it?

Trump should refuse the interview with Megan Kelly until her hair grows out and she no longer has that butch prison guard hair-do. Hey Megan, look at Trump’s wife and daughter for reference.

My thinking is that that portion of the #NeverTrump folks who are actually conservatives have a golden opportunity and may miss it if they don’t make a course correction..

Trump is not an enemy of conservatives. He has broken the stranglehold that the GOPe had, the GOPe that actively opposed and crushed conservatives, and sometimes actually purged them from the party.
That GOPe has been neutered by Trump, and also to a lesser extent by Cruz. Between them, they received 90% of the vote, and both IMHO are outsiders.

The #NeverTrump guys like Kristol aren’t conservatives in any real sense, and I say good riddance to them and their third party threats. But the real constitutional and social conservatives who are Cruz supporters now have an opportunity to hold more sway in this country’s affairs than in many years, but not if they fold their arms and sit out the fight. Jeff Sessions realized this, I believe, and that is why he endorsed Trump. The GOPe was ossified, ineffective, and double-dealing. Promises made, always broken.

With Trump, we have not only a great chance at a solid Supreme Court
(Trump will give advance notice of who he would nominate), immigration enforcement, strengthening of the military, and a change in attitude about national priorities. Conservatives are a natural fit with all of these positions, but if they bolt from the upcoming fight and in effect assist in the election of HRC, they would be cutting off their nose to spite their face. If Trump can win, there will be spots for conservatives in the administration at every level, spots where policy can be shaped. Don’t forget, Sessions will be at Trump’s elbow. Agencies can be demolished, regulation rolled back, and all of the other things conservatives long for. This can only happen if conservative voices are there. If they don’t stay in the fight, we will have HRC, and ZERO chance for anything but a further and faster slide into socialism and rot.

Trump gives a real opportunity for conservatism to have a voice. Hillary gives us certain and unequivocal disaster. I hope all this “#NeverTrump” stuff from conservatives stops.

Yep - Newt pretty much summed it up in two sentences:

- Trump may be the most effective anti-left leader we've ever had>

- If you aren't; for Trump (at this point) you are for Hillary.

Here's hoping the rift can be closed and we can all get to the united business of stopping Hillary.
