The Vermonters I know went to school in Rutland. Always glad to tell me what to say. How to view things. I never argue. I know they know nothing of real life if real integration, the danger of non assimilation. They don’t know these people wot assimilate or that it would even matter. Until now. Until it does matter.

Those folks in Rutland are about to get an education. And quite honestly, if and when the violent thing happens, I really won’t care. They got the government they asked for. They don’t want to hold their overlords, I mean elected officials, accountable for anything, that’s their problem.
When the bills start stacking up, the crime starts ticking up, when they have to make changes to their way of life as not to offend their new neighbors, when 100 Syrians turns into 1000 because of family reunification happens and their picturesque, postcard town turns into a 3rd world dump..I won’t feel the least bit sorry. In fact, I’ll laugh
Come to think about is, someone in the area should start some type of photo documentary of the town. So we can all watch the decay. I wonder where they’ll put the mosque and all the speakers around town so their new neighbors can here the call to prayer 5 times a day.
