(VANITY) Google Censoring "Presidential Candidates"
Google ^

Posted on 07/27/2016 1:51:58 AM PDT by TigerClaws

A google search for "Presidential candidates" turns up Clinton, Sanders, Jill Stein.

Seems like someone is missing?

Saw an interview this week that google can sway a few MILLION votes this election. Control the information, control the outcome.

Wow—you’re right. No Gary Johnson either—but Jill Stein and Bernie too?

Google has gotten annoying. I’ve actually started using Bing for politics.

Why not use STARTPAGE? [it doesn’t save any of your info]

[I just tried it and didn’t find any list of candidates, or not candidates. Various sources had topics/subjects re.]

Use Duck Go or Ixquick google alternative search engines (Duck Go does use google but weeds out the blatant politicking. Search of ‘Presidential Candidates’ gives a politically neutral result. As it should be.
Globalists be warned. We little people are onto you

Clinton camp can’t stop squawking about Russia “interfering” in the election ... will they similarly complain about Google?

There are equal time laws for TV. Federal laws.

Internet has no such rules.

Made the switch to DuckDuckGo and fairly happy about it. Doesn’t address the issue of millions of Americans being misled by Google et al. It is becoming abundantly clear, this great nation is under threat of coup being waged on the ethereal battlefield of the internet.

Google can’t control #### guys.

There’s facebook and twitter and a million other search engines.

These under 35 folk, they know how to find what they want.

Google is actually for the “older” generations at this point.

ALL of my nephews and nieces get everything from social media.

Google and Facebook and Twitter are all gonna weep like Bit#es in 4 months.

The feds would likely just screw it up worse - as they do everything.

But a few million votes in an election? That’s a lot of power for google (who pays no U.S. taxes) to control our election system.

What was the point of the Equal Time law? TV doesn’t have near the influence of the net these days.

I noticed this during the Obama wins. You’d search for information against Obama and it’d be on page 5. Snopes (funded by Soros) is their favorite disinformation link.

And facebook suppresses conservatives. They pay no taxes. They get Democrats elected and back open borders.

I just searched for those words, and I saw all of the candidates.

Google will adjust search results based on your previous searches and your previous selection of search results. So, if you have been searching a lot of opposition candidates recently, and then you do a search of “presidential candidates”, your results might be skewed as compared to my results.

I have seen cases in the past where I do the same search at work vs. at home, and the results are different. That’s because the information I look for at work is not the same information I need at home.

I use Bing. Funny thing, when I searched “presidential candidates” there I got a the whole field with the losers blacked out, and the ones still running in color. But Trump, Johnson and Stein’s pics were larger, and Hillary’s is a quarter the size. Refreshed and this time it’s Trump’s who was small. Then Stein. Seems to be random.

I’ve set my browser preference to Bing for searches. Not perfectly happy with it, but it’s better than frigging Google.

Strange. I just see the three. Trump’s not there. Seen screenshots from other people with the same result. I tested it prior to posting.
