In Russia, 30-year-old Valery Spiridonov will be flying to the United States to meet the doctor who plans to perform the world’s first head transplant on him. During the operation, Italian surgeon, Dr. Sergio Canavero, intends to completely remove Spiridonov’s head and reattached it to a healthy body.
Spiridonov suffers from a rare form of spinal muscular dystrophy called Werdnig-Hoffman disease.
Now, Spiridonov says Canavero will be announcing the plans soon:
Today, the 31-year-old is wheelchair reliant due to a muscle-wasting disease, announced his neurosurgeon would explain how the plan was progressing in September.
Mr Spiridonov says he is ready to put his trust in controversial surgeon Dr Sergio Canavero who claims he can cut off his head and attach it to a healthy body.
Neither the exact date or location have been chosen yet, but the world first procedure is aimed to take place in December 2017.

Can you imagine waking up with either a different body or a different head?

Seeing as how this could be the main reason the earth was destroyed with a flood, it would give different meaning to our obsession with editing DNA, cloning, modifying sheep and pigs, ect, this head transplant being just the latest. The age old desire to live forever or get to heaven without God started at the Tower of Babel.
I feel for this man but, I have to say this is more demonic than scientific. The odds of him living are almost zero, and if he could live, what sort of life is it to have a breathing blood pump to keep you alive to stare at the ceiling for another 40 years? Some things define "living" at more than just breathing. I don't desire to die, but fearing death is irrational. Whether you believe in God or not, everyone dies. We are born dying. No one escapes here alive. I am a believer, but even an atheist must accept that he/she will pass at some point. I look forward to the Rapture, but if it doesn't come in my life, I will die like billions have done before me. I believe in spirits, so I don't believe in hanging on to my diseased body at all costs. God says I will live forever with Him. God is spirit and He does alright. Jesus was flesh, but couldn't wait to get back to His father. How many times are we told to "Fear Not" in Scripture? Even in Revelation 13:9-10 and Rev 14:12-13, Scripture tells us to just give up your life in the Tribulation and stop fighting the inevitable. This is bad news for preppers. if you don't follow God's commands during the last days, you will forfeit all you worked for. Don't think you can shoot your neighbor and take his food, ammo, and his daughter just because society and it's laws have completely broken down.
If demons indeed introduced gene editing into the Creation and it messed up the DNA pool, it would explain much where Satan was determined to mess up the DNA line of Jesus, from Adam, a Son of God, to Jesus, the second Adam, with contaminated DNA. Some of the commands God gave to destroy everyone and everything in some cases, would fit this profile. Satan had 400 years of captivity for the Jews, to set a trap with Giants in Canaan to keep God's people out of the promised land. The blood line is contaminated with fallen angel DNA, and this just shows the contamination is still here calling out to God to destroy mankind again. As we park abominations in women's bathrooms, as we are shown WalMart shoppers in various dress on the internet, as we watch the Gay pride parades, you know I'm right! ;,)
A talking head on a table is just the latest evidence. Remember Noah was found "perfect" in his generations. he still needed Grace, but was still perfect. I believe we, spiritually reborn, will be found perfect and brought up into our Ark to ride out the punishment coming, but the evidence of DNA corruption is everywhere.
